I don't think spanking helps kids listen. Instead it gives them trauma

It will make them fear u and u won't have good relationship with parents. I think it makes them not want to listen because u make them mad. But sometimes, it works. But hurting a child isn't always the answer. U Can change their behavior by doing other things, like I don't know god knows what. Giving them support, encouragement. Just being a good parents in general. Especially if some kids were born in a bad family. But sometimes it works. Sometimes some kids don't listen no matter what u do and I think thats when spanking can come in handy.

17) If you have children would you spank them as a last resort? If so, is there anything you would do differently compared to your parents? -I do not plan on spanking my children and show them more compassion and understanding unlike my parents did.
