Some lie because they're being asked by strangers, some lie to keep up an image, some don't really lie (they believe they're telling the truth), they've just been conditioned to think their attraction to a guy comes from non-physical attributes and that it's just coincidence all the "smart, funny, caring" guys they've loved were tall and had a chiseled jawline. And then there are some who just want the guy to be taller than her, so short guys really have a chance with her if she's short herself.

They lie because they don't want to admit to being superficial, and if they say its just a preference then guys can have preferences too, which would mean they can be scrutinized for all their imperfections. So they flat out lie instead. Some tell the truth about being superficial and I admire that.

i dont lie, normally im shorter then short men so they are all tall to me. i havnt met a guy shorter then me yet. height really doesn't matter to me or looks at al, what matters to me is the connection i have with them and personality and common interests.

Its called money and he's funny so of course women are gonna over look his shortcomings no pun intended. But what about normal short guys? I'm 5'11 and I'm still considered short by a lot of women. Its like God forbid if he's not 6'3+ he has no chance.

Or at least have a sense of humor. And like I said, I like short guys about the same. Not really a shortcoming. Last time I went on a date, he was 6'3, attractive, muscular and a mechanic which is goods money, but I said I don't want anything more because his personality just wasn't well suited to me, I like funny clever men, while he was serious and simple.

And well usually anything more than an inch taller is tall to me, though their build effects how they seem too. Like I have a friend whose probably 6'5, but he's so skinny that I don't think of him as that much bigger even though he's so much taller. Super tall though would be like the 6'4-6'6 kids walking around my school, though maybe they're more than that.

I've dated taller girls and I'm 5'6 and no prince charming. Confidence and being comfortable with your own body is key, and many times they won't even notice they're taller until much later.
