So I've been out on a few dates with this girl I like, she seemed super into me and we were all over each other after both dates. Then she had a busy week at work, which i totally respected and backed off a little, I dropped her a message mid week then she got back a few days later saying how sorry she was for the lack of contact, I told her it was cool as I knew how busy she was, and suggested meeting up that week. Then a little bit more silence. Then she gets in touch suggesting coffee that week. I agree and ask when to set a date. Silence. A few days later I get some good news and message her to tell her, she's happy for me and suggests meeting up, I again try to get a date settled but to no avail.
I popped into the coffee shop where she works yesterday just as she was going on lunch and she just seemed distant. I asked if I could meet her after to walk her to the bus (it was a crazy long shift and then she was starting early today), she said she'd probably be too beat, but that she'd see me soon.
The texts she sends are playful, with in-jokes and nicknames we have, she suggests something and when I try to set a date she goes quiet. I think she is stressed about something so I'm trying not to hound and be as understanding as possible, but the mixed signals are driving me crazy. Should I text and ask her whats going on? I would much rather ask it to her face but I don't wanna go hanging around her work or anything! She said when we started seeing each other that she is terrible at texting (her friends agree apparently) so I'm trying not to read too much into it, but its hard. I really like her and don't wanna mess it up but at the same time I'm scared I'm being slowly ghosted. Should I confront her and ask whats going on? Should I make my feelings clearer? I really don't wanna do it by text but I think thats gonna be the only way. I was thinking of leaving her be for a few days then showing at her bus stop after work and offering her a lift home. Please help!
