A woman sued Samsung for her putting her phone inside her vagina. Does she have a case?

She doesn’t at least not in my opinion. First of all, she’s an idiot for putting it up there in the first place. How do you fit a whole phone in there? That’s disgusting too as well. Then second of all, why do they have to put a disclaimer? That’s common sense not to stick a phone in your vagina. That was on her own doing on her own free will.
If she got anything out it she really shouldn’t have because that was idiotic on her part.
She would definitely not have had to have a C - Section, because the phone simply couldn't have passed up through her cervix.
I wonder is this an early April Fool's joke?
I'm not sure, but it was on the Yahoo News Feed. It does sound hard to believe.
@Máiiréad Crap, must be an April's Fool Day joke.
And TY for your participation in the thread. :)
If she succeeds then this sets a precedent where the disclaimers will have to be miles long with a near-infinite list of things you shouldn't do with the product.
Exactly. I think a lot of that started when some dumb lady burned herself by spilling hot coffee on herself at McDonald's. People will sue for anything these days.
I totally agree with everything about how ridiculous this woman is. my only disagreement is with the example you stated. It has become a comment rope of stupid lawsuits, but I looked into it and it is anything but. The woman was over 90 years old, the water was 190 degrees which gives you third degree burns after 10 seconds. they asked for the coffee to be cool, and the McDonald's people did not cool it down. It spilled in her lap while she was buckled into the seat, and pooled in the seat. it took them at least 15 seconds to get her out, and the damage was severe. Major burning and shine over that whole area, and you can imagine how sensitive and difficult it was. The lawsuit was actually only for the woman's medical bills, which were about two hundred grand. But the judge was so disgusted at McDonald's behavior, that they made McDonald's give the woman two million dollars
If they do, I'm gonna email a ton of companies and ask them to send me their disclaimers, so I can laugh at some of the stuff they come up with...
Thanks
Medical bill over $1 million for a C Section? There is no way that's true.
A quick search shows that the entire story is made up.
I knew it was too dumb to be true. Damn news feeds!
Well it sounds like the kind of stupid thing someone would do. That part was believable. It was the million dollar C Section that raised a red flag.

some are getting more and more stupid with each day and the companies seem to have no problem in supporting this out of hand behaviour.
First, by making life easier for idiots, then compensating the idiots that even so, managed to fuck it up using the product supposed to make life easier.
and only makes me wonder about the big picture: do companies really want us to become stupid and easily controllable?
this story feels like an extreme episode of the Simpsons.
Never happened. Learn to google shit.

Usually when it is on Yahoo News Feed you think it's reliable.
I've already put my phone up my ass after reading this and am currently holding to speak to an advisor at Sony. I hope they won't take long to answer my call, it's starting to feel sore 😐
I hope you put it on vibrate.
She really shouldn't have a chance of winning people shouldn't be so retarded that they stick phones in their vagina's.
Also C-Sections don't cost a million dollars, not even remotely close to that.
Depends on the judge and country/state.
In euripe she will not have a case at all but in the US she might have a case if she has a good lawyer.
She doesn't have a case. She actually chose to put her phone there. She didn't have to do it. And as for the warning, they shouldn't NEED to have one. I would have thought it was obvious...
Simples...
I mean if McDonalds lost a lawsuit to a woman who spilled hot coffee on herself and claimed there was no warning saying coffee is hot, anything is possible
While she was found partially at fault for her injuries. McDonald's still had to give her money.

no cuz it's not meant for that an t has warning on battery most should know any battery shouldn't be put in a body
That is something I wouldn't have thought of.
Should have used a condom.
Hmm... Did she have an orgasm when her phone rang?
There are just some things that are not meant to go in there.
Wtf? Someone please tell this girl for what samsung is producing phones. Out of court settlement maybe a fake news
That’s hilarious. I’m gonna sue because Samsung didn’t make phones I could put in my penis. That’s discrimination.
I hope not. You’re right: ever since McDs coffee- yuk!
She must not have a case for it , if she is using her vagina
But the real question is: was it on vibrate?
That label will be there
Yo, take it easy with the April Fool's :D :D
Stupidity should never ever be rewarded
She has literally no chance of winning.
This story is actually fake.
if I was a judge I would slap that woman.
You're very funny. These are litigious times...
Wtf USA is screwed
