What Girls Said
I do not use any for it can get in my tights and hurt my feet ! I use baby wipes and toss them into the trash if to dirty to reuse ! Thanks
Interesting. When did you switch from TP to baby wipes, and why? Can the baby wipes be reused?
I use an awful lot to make sure that I am clean and dry with 3-4 squares. It’s depends on if I’m on my period or not. 🙈😬🙊
Why do you think that some may use more (or less)?
Because I don’t want to get wet on my hand 😂🙈
Would it bother you to get your hand wet if you're just going to wash your hands afterward?
Looking at your previous questions.. I think you have a fetish for woman going pee. And that's weird.
I’m male and am curious. This stuff isn’t generally discussed, so the only way to learn is to ask. If you don’t want to share, that’s up to you.
The way to learn is by googling it, but you ask for such specific details that it is clearly more than just a "curiosity"
I've always had an insatiable curiosity. Given that it's not something to which I'm normally exposed, I do find it fascinating. Still, people have different experiences, and I learn more from different perspectives.
I have noticed that I actually use a lot of tp even when I’m just peeing. I just like to make sure that I stay clean. I’d say I probably use 5 squares or so sometimes more.
What would be the most/least you might use, and why? How would you feel if you used less (or none at all), and why?
If you have a bidet you will use far less TP than a girl would ordinarily use. After use of the bidet you only need a towel to dry off as you as clean as you would be if you took a shower. I mean I was not fretting during the TP shortage. The only question would be is water cheaper than toilet paper?
I bundle up a lot unconsciously, kind of a waste but I'm a germaphobe so whoop dee doo
I don’t know how much might be involved. How would being a self-proclaimed “germaphobe” matter if you wash your hands afterwards?
just because I can wash my hands afterwards doesn't mean I should use less toilet paper
I appreciate the input. Things are quite different for us, males, and I don’t know what factors may influence how much someone uses.
I use tissue just to use it. Even in place of towels and paper towels. We use a roll every 2 days
Why is that, and when you say “we,” who is included?
Just do. And I dont live alone so “we”
Is there something extra useful about TP that I don’t know about?
Nah i just use it like a papertowel
Wouldn't it break apart/stick to your fingers if you used TP to use on your hands as if you were using paper towels?
Only cheaper toilet paper would lmao
Sounds like quite a waste of paper when towels work just fine.
I use 20 little square wiping my ass; and 5 little squares for wiping my pussy.
I appreciate you sharing. Do you always use the same amount?
Yes... I got used to it bc my parents taught me from when I was 6 years old, thats how far I remember when using toilet paper.
Did you not use TP prior to 6 years of age?
I used to live in a very extremely poor countries, and TP was never one of the luxury to have... my toys came from the garage mills in my country, and food was very rare to have... I been blessed with a great life now.
Glad to hear that things have improved. I guess that I didn’t understand what you would have done prior to age 6 since you would have been out of diapers.
My grandmother used leafs... lol. Gross huh! But what else could you do when you are extremely poor... nothing just be greatful for what we got. Its mice.
Alright. Then what was it like to go without wiping afterward? What’s it like now when you can’t wipe afterward? Do you struggle with it now if in that situation?
Not anymore, I live in Canada now, I got all the toilet paper I can get my hands on. Lol.
That's good. TP much be much harder to come by right now in the US (or in the near future given the COVID-19 pandemic).
I am in Canada, we got plenty.
Luckily, that’s something that I don’t have to face (as a male).
How would you feel if you tried using fewer squares of TP afterward?
I usually use around 4-5 squares. Not too much I hope..
That sounds like a reasonable amount. Do you always use the same amount each time?
Yeah. More or less.
How would you feel if you used less?
Like.. hmm.. unsatisfying
Hmm, as in not feeling clean, or what? What do you do, and how do you feel, if there’s no TP and you have to go without wiping after peeing?
No. More like feeling it’s still wet down there. In my country, we have bidet system. So it’ll be wet down there. I use the TP to wipe out the excess water.
If no TP, then I’m gonna use my hand to lessen the water.
That's interesting. Do you think that you might be more used to being wet than those from the US due to using a bidet? I wonder why we don't really use them here? How do you feel when using a Western toilet without a bidet?
I have a bidet at home and work, so maybe I go through two rolls a month?
Interesting. What is using a bidet actually like, and how different is the experience of using one compared with simply using TP afterward to wipe?
Water washes away whatever’s left. I do wriggle around so the jet sprays everywhere it’s needed and will sometimes blot myself dry, or let it air dry. I feel fully clean after doing 1 or 2.
Can you control where the water goes? How forcefully/weakly does the water spray against you?
At home, the spout is fixed, so I have to rock my hips back and forth, side to side, to cover all the necessary bits. I have a bottle with a sprayer wand that I'll use at work/school or traveling. The force all depends on how far I open the valve or squeeze the bottle.
Interesting. Were you raised using a bidet? What's it like when you have to use toilet paper instead of water afterward? How difficult would that be for you?
Hygienic paper can often feel like sandpaper now.
Really? What would you consider hygienic paper, and does it actually cause irritation for you? Sandpaper sounds like one of the worst things I’d imagine someone would want to use to wipe.
Toilet tissue?
Oh, I didn't know if you were talking about some special type of wipe.
I read this while urinating and I used 12 squares of toilet paper.
Perfect timing then! I'm curious to know if you used the same amount the next time. Thanks for counting and sharing.
What are the odds, I saw your reply when I was urinating again, I used 10 this time.
Great timing again. I’m curious, do you notice any difference between using 10 vs 12, and if so, what? Also, had this question not existed, would you have been aware that you used a different amount?
Never kept much track but i feel like i use way too much during my period lol
How much do you typically use normally, and how much might you use during your period? Why such a difference?
Ummm 🤔 I think I use too much per se... 12 squares? 🥴
Why 12 squares? It sounds like a lot to use? Have you tried using less, and if so, how was it different?
I’m just a bit ocd I want to make sure I’m completely clean
How would it feel if you used less? How much of a difference might it make?
Probably not much of a difference tbh 💁♀️
Well, what stops you from using less? If you used less, what would be sufficient?
Enough for my parents to threaten to kick me out if I don’t start using less. LOL
LOL, seriously? How much are you using?
Like a roll a day?
I understand why they would threaten you. LOL. HOW can one go through a roll in a day? Wouldn't it irritate you between the legs from using so much?
I don't know I usually use some to clean the toilet seat and sometimes to layer it. Then I don’t want to get my hand dirty so I use a lot for that. Back when I lived alone I’d spend like £5 a week on toilet paper. I guess it is a problem but like I don't know how to use less of it? Lol.
Hold on for a moment. Are you not aware that by using TP to "wipe" the toilet seat, you're SPREADING organisms around and making it less hygienic? Further, the buttocks are quite "clean" compared with many areas of the body.
I usually use wet wipes first and then I use toilet paper to either wipe or layer the seat. I know, I didn’t say what I did wasn’t stupid. It is just a habit at this point, I guess. I also think it is gross to sit where someone else’s bare ass sat, even though it might be more hygienic than shaking hands.
Really? Do you still wipe the toilet seat if you're at home?
Yes :(
Your hands have so much more bacteria on them than your buttocks. As a result, toilet seats also don’t have much bacteria on them (the sink and door handles typically have the most bacteria in the bathroom).
Honestly, I know all of this. It’s a weird habit. I’m aware that it is not rational.
Have you tried cutting down, and if so, what happened and what was it like? Do you think that a fear of germs or being unclean is a big factor? Anxiety? What?
It makes me feel exactly like how one feels when the public restroom is out of soap. Funnily enough I’m not usually someone who is fussed about germs or mess. I’m the messiest person I know...
Really now? Then what do you do if there's only a few sheets of TP left when you use it, and how do you feel? I'm glad that you're not worried about germs.
I use a about 4 squares, but when I'm on my period I use a bit more than that.
So it's a set amount and the same each time (if not on your period)?
Yeah pretty much.
How would things feel differently if you used less than 4 squares of TP?
Well if I was on my period it would feel a lot more messier for sure. I'd have blood all over my hands. And it wouldn't be enough. On regular days though I suppose it would make less of a difference, but it depends whether I'm peeing or doing something else 😂
That's understandable if on your period, pooping, etc. Still, for peeing, is 4 the magic number? How would things be different if you used 3 squares, 2, or none at all?
Well if I used none at all then I would get drops of urine on my underwear or pants obviously, which would feel uncomfortable. 1 wouldn't do a Justice either, neither would 2. I need at least 3 after plainly peeing. I need 4 on period days and 3 after Just peeing. That's my final answer.
I appreciate the insight. This is something I never learned about.
Apparently too much. My dad buys extra in if I go home or visit 🤣
How much is "too much" though?
Maybe 10+ squares each wipe?
How might you feel if you used less TP afterward?
I just wash with water. Toilet roll isn't required.
Really? I know that other countries may use this technique, but what is it actually like?
It feels like a shower
Why hasn’t this caught on more here in the U. S? Have you wiped before? If so, what is it like for you?
I have allergies from tissue. I only use it on period or outside.
I don't know why people don't really do it in Western Countries.
I would never go with out wiping and I use a ton of p as per and butt wipes. I dont live in a third world I'm gonna waste the tp paper
@Neeceeb7 great for you.
From what I hear, they’re quite sanitary (especially if someone poops), and there are types of these toilets that can use air to dry someone afterward. I wouldn’t know what they’re like as a female though.
I use a lot plus I use Wet Wipes then more TP. But a Roll Scott's 1000 Sheets lasts me 15 days.
Why do you feel you use as much as you do? How would you feel if you used less (or none at all), and why?
I know people that one roll lasts them three weeks to a month and they are home bound. I'm hardly home. I couldn't use less, OCD about it...
When you say that you’re OCD about it, what do you actually experience? Do you feel unclean/still wet after wiping? Do you wipe a certain number of times (or repeat wiping a number of times)? What do you experience, and how does it affect you/make you feel? How would you feel if you were stuck only being able to use a certain number of squares of TP that was less than what would be normal/comfortable for you? Lastly, do you ever get raw from wiping?
One, I never get raw. Two wipe twice then new TP wipe twice again then Wet Wipe then wipe twice with TP then twice again with new TP and once more with Wet Wipe then twice again with TP and one more time with new TP twice to be certain I'm dry. I'm sure you can see even numbers is key here. Twenty Squares TP each time I wipe.
I appreciate the clarification. Although I know that girls wipe after peeing, it’s fascinating to learn what you actually do. Why 2 wipes/TP used? Also, for each set of wiping twice x2 (then wet wipes), which specific areas are you wiping/covering? Is it that you wipe a specific area for each set (wiping different areas for each set), or are you wiping any/all areas that you plan to wipe (during each set) and repeat the same process multiple times? Why the use of wet wipes, and what do they do/how do they feel different from using TP? How long have you relied upon this specific routine for wiping, and has anything led to the formation of this routine? What do you do if: 1) You lose count while wiping (and do you have to think about what you’re doing and/or count while wiping)? 2) There’s not enough TP/wet wipes or you run out? 3) You still feel wet/dirty/unclean/etc. after using 20 squares of TP? Have you ever tried using less/changing your routine, and how did/would it make you feel (and why)?
How do you prevent yourself from becoming irritated/raw?
Tge TP routine since I can remember. Wet Wipes came into play about 8 years ago when I had Anal Fissures. I always carry Wet Wipes with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E and Puffs Tissue with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E so that stop me from getting mecraw I think plus I have the natural lube. I've tried cutting back felt like I was filthy got a UTI shortly after logically I know there's no correlation but my OCD tells me see we cut back and look what happened. It doesn't take me longer tgan any other female in the rest room I'm still faster than all the rest of them in and out I do this whole process in less tgan two minutes tgen two minutes washing my hands.
This is quite interesting. There are things I’m curious to ask that might not be best for a public forum, so please PM me so I can ask further.
I’m unsure as to whether you only wipe a specific area with each set or if you wipe everywhere you intend to wipe during each set?
How has the routine changed at all other than the addition of wet wipes?
Do you have a similar routine when wiping your anus? Anal fissures are no laughing matter, so I feel for you. I generally recommend increased hydration, dietary/lifestyle modifications, use of a stool softener (typically Docusate Sodium), and products such as Anusol (best as a prescription with hydrocortisone included, but not always easy to get someone’s insurance to cover it).
You really picked the perfect Screen name... LOL
I definitely have an insatiable curiosity. There are many things about a female's life that I'll never truly know or understand. Then again, it's not like others tend to arbitrarily share such things off the cuff.
I use a lot lol. I also wet the tissues to use as well
Oh, why is that? Why do you wet them? How would you feel if you used less (or none at all), and why?
I wet them because I never feel fully clean after using the bathroom. If I used less or none, I'll just shower after using the bathroom every time
How many times in a day have you showered after peeing? Why not simply pee in the shower when you have to go? Also, how do you wet the TP if there isn’t water nearby?
I never showered after peeing, I was answering your question if I couldn't use as much TP. I never thought about peeing in the shower before tbh and the jacuzzi and sink are in the bathroom
You have a jacuzzi in the bathroom? Nice! Why don’t you pee in the shower? Most people (guys and girls) do it, and it’s silly to use a toilet separately and then go shower (rather than just pee in the shower). Give it a shot and see how it goes.
I pee in there sometimes *don't tell anyone though lol
LOL, I think it’d be rather unusual if you didn’t. I bet that most of us do it. What’s it like to do it in the shower since ai’d think it’s be closer to peeing while standing (but ai can be wrong)? What’s it like to try peeing while standing as a girl anyway?
I think it's weird. Sometimes it gets on me... good thing I'm in the shower lol
Does it feel empowering in any way? Are you able to control where it goes at all? Yes, it’s nice that everything flows down the drain.
Nope. Doesn't feel empowering at all. I can control where it goes most of the time though
To what extent can you aim, though? That’s quite the visual and rather interesting to imagine a female being able to control where it goes. How can you control where it actually goes though?
by not peeing all recklessly; however, sometimes it go unplanned and pee doesn't go where i want it to
Keep something in mind. There’s a wide knowledge gap given that I’m male and not female. I don’t really understand what’s normally involved when a girl sits and urinates (let alone tries it while standing), so how can one control where pee goes? Also, why would pee NOT go where you planned?
Oh right. Sorry. Basically, at least for me, peeing strong (hard), the urine will mostly be straight and not go all wild. Peeing softly, there's potential for it go everywhere. However, all of this depends how a woman pee (sitting like normal or booting down). Not all women pee sitting because the toilet is probably disgusting and we can't just stand up like a guy (which sucks).
I hope that makes sense
I appreciate the explanation. What do you mean by “booting down?” Would that be the same as squatting? If you were to push hard/pee strong, do you think you’d be able to use a urinal?
Yes! I was trying to think of the word "squat" but it didn't appear lol. Yes, women can use a urinal. I watch a youtube vid of this woman who got surgery and she needed to use a urinal and she showed her subscribers lol
Really? I would be fascinated to see it. Please PM me with it. I don’t understand why girls wouldn’t sit on the seats. What do they think might happen if they do? Toilet seats are much cleaner (have far less bacteria) than all the knobs/handles/sinks/etc. in the bathroom that are loaded with bacteria.
As much as I need. I wipe the seat with toilet paper before I sit on it too.
How much is the amount typically needed? Why wipe the seat?
I use way to much specially around the time of the month
What would you consider way too much?
5 Squares. I use a good bit because I like to make sure that it's as clean as possible because women are more vulnerable to getting kidney infections after sex or other kind of infections so its important for us to make sure that it's super clean at the front and back. Not only that but I think us ladies can be very self conscious when it comes to down there and how clean it is :) we hate the thought of missing a bit or feeling in any way unclean
Interesting. I hadn't really considered the potential self-conscious aspect. For us, it's quite easy to shake our penises using centripetal force to get rid of excess urine so wiping isn't something we typically consider. How much would you use if NOT around your time of the month, though?
Maybe two squares :)
Or three as I use water to clean down there also.
That doesn't sound like much at all. Why do you think that some seem to use so much more?
We don't use toilet paper in India... we have enough water
I wonder if that would take off if some started using water instead here?
A lot. I spare no expense when it comes to toilet paper and I want higher quality toilet paper.
How much is a lot? Why spare no expense with how much you use? How do different brands/types/brands affect things? How would you feel if you used less (or none at all), and why?
Well the quality in the U. S isn't that high but Quilted Northern Ultra Plus or Charmin Ultra Soft. I just use as much as I want. Thanks for the question because I just found out they both have online coupons. I will save on cheap paper towels and I clean with vinegar/water or hydrogen peroxide so I can spare some money for the good toilet paper and Kleenex/Puffs.
I appreciate your perspective, as I hadn’t considered such things, and a difficulty I have is that I don’t have the same anatomy to know how different brands would feel. Given your anatomy, is the sensation/roughness much more easily discernible? Glad that you were able to potentially save a little money in the future.
I dont like to use too much its expensive and in reality you only need about 5-7 squares
Why do you think that some women use a lot more?
Because of menstruation, we're required to use much more toilet tissue than guys.
I can totally understand that, but I'm curious to know what the typical amount might be when used to wipe after peeing. We, guys, don't need to wipe afterward.
I use a lot like 4 squares and use the bathroom for maybe 10-15 times a day. Thanks for the invite!
Interesting, do you drink a lot of water? How would you feel if you tried using less or none at all?
I don't measure exactly but i drink a lot and I don't know i just can't
Then what do you do if you're out in nature when you have to go?
It depends. It can be anywhere from ten squares to half a roll lol. I assume its the same as a guy.
We don't need to use TP to wipe with after urinating.
gross
Actually, simple shaking is all it takes. For us, TP isn't necessary. That's why it's difficult to understand what such things are actually like for girls.
It still on there, the urine.
What do you mean?
I've sucked from wiped and shook... trust me. Its not clean when shook.
Hmm, are you finding this to be the case for all guys or just one? Have you watched to see that it's adequate? I don't know how quickly afterward you're becoming sexually involved with a guy after he pees to know what other factors might come into play.
If he wipes then it shouldn't be an issue. I can tell without knowing because of the taste. Ill ask and ge wouldn't have and the taste is bad even if he'd showered right before peeing. But it tastes fine e if its wiped.
To be honest, this is an interesting consideration. I can tell you that the same applies for girls.
Lmao you really think girls out here not wiping? And if he's going down on me I bavywipe just to be sure
No, it's that I don't have the same perspective since men don't have to wipe after peeing. I don't know what that might feel like for you if you did the same. How would things be different if you tried using less TP, and why?
I guess I could just shake right
I'm not sure how shaking might help you. We make use of centripetal force when shaking, and I don't know how women would be able to generate the same forces to make that work. Still, how might things be different if you tried using less TP?
I probably go through TP a bit slower than the other girls who have commented because I also use baby wipes when I go to the potty 😂 it’s important to stay clean. so maybe I’ll go for 5-7 squares and like 1 wipe after that
2 sqaures if its just pee (i'd get in so much trouble as a kid for using too much)
If its a dookie how ever many it takes until the paper wipes clean woth nothing on it
And on my period I use wet wipes
2 squares for urination, 4 squares during my period after urination and pooping
2 squares doesn't sound like a lot. Why do you think other girls use much more?
