We have a lot more crevices to clean make fresh and smell good. Washing hair yes but I only do that once a week bc there is a such thing as overwashing your hair. There’s also shaving. Most showers it’s scrubbing and contemplative thought. Apparently I take long either way. I take two showers twice a day usually in the summer or if I was sweating at night. I’m also the type that has to take a shower after I use the toilet. Usually my deep clean is like 20-40minutes. My fresh get your body up before work is like 7mins.

Wow that really didn't work. Tried to hit enter and posted it. Anyways, girls routine: get in, warm up in the nice hot water for a few minutes. Then remember what we went in for. Put shampoo in, take a minute to get hair all soaped up, maybe let it sit for a sec, then rinse. Rinsing takes a minute or two. Wash face for a few minutes. (also, there is a mandatory enjoy-hot-water break between each accomplishment). Then, put conditioner in hair. That's gotta sit. While conditioner is soaking in, lather up with shaving cream or soap or whatever she uses to shave. That takes a little bit even before the shaving process. Shaving takes at least ten minutes I feel like, and that's just legs and armpits. Anything else adds another 10 or so. Then gotta rinse that off, maybe do body wash, and then the final rinse. The final rinse takes a good few minutes because of the conditioner and hot water withdrawal. Then you turn the hot water off. AND THEN YOU'RE STILL NOT DONE. Gotta squeeze the water out of your hair so it's not dripping wet all day.
I can do a quick shower in 20 mins (shampoo, conditioner, face wash, body wash). Shaving makes it 30 mins. Relaxing makes it 40. It's usually 40.
It strongly depends on what type of shower. My friends, whenever they are visiting my house, take a quicker shower than me. Because they don't wash hairs in every shower. If they wash hairs, then they take a little longer. If they are shaving, then take the longest.
It takes around 10 minutes of bath for me i do shave when it is required and It's me around 4 minutes for happy shower hours I love to satisfy my self by doing master bastion for around 4 minutes I think takes lot of time and last I wash my face and clean my self
How the hell do you manage 4 minutes? @Apple1996 @WhiteShoulder @SweedyPie it takes me at least 15 minutes at which points my finger tips starts to get wrinkly, I get fustrated, call the girlfriend into the shower and have rough shower sex... Otherwise men get blue balls 🤷🏽♂️🔵

I usually don’t take long unless I start thinking really hard and forget I’m standing in the shower.
I can take 5 minutes if I’m really trying to speed it up. 10 minutes is standard because washing my hair takes a long time. I have long hair that gets extremely tangled, and it is kind of hard to apply products to it when it’s all messed up like that. So I have to spend a lot of time to untangle it first, which is a whole challenge of its own.
My brothers take longer than I do in the shower when I don’t take more than necessary. Goodness knows what they do. They especially love to sit on the toilet for a billion years while I’m dying outside and need to use it. I don’t know about other guys, but I shower even faster than my guy friends. So I would say if most girls are like me, and most guys are like my guy friends, girls take less time to shower.
We are very thorough with showering, trying to reach every little piece of skin. We do beauty procedures that guys just don't cafe to. Shampooing long hair takes time, then there is conditioning that has to stay in the hair a while, or a hair mask. Shaving pits, pubes, legs. Exfoliating skin, lotion, face cream…… there are so many things girls do there. I mentioned the most common ones

Still does not represent majority of men on the planet. And not all Indian guys do this. They leave that stuff for women usually. No matter how much Indian men do these beauty procedures, women do them 10x more
It takes time to shave. Also, if I wash my hair I have a lot more to wash than a guy. Plus I need to put conditioner on it. I also to body scrubs 2 times a week. If I wear makeup I tke it off in the shower. That is why I prefer baths. I can relax because I won't use more water than it already is there.
True, I have shaved my girlfriend in the shower before, she was surprised that a guy was better at shaving than a girl 😑🙄😂 especially legs.
I have also washed her hair before, never again! I'm happy doing hot oil treatment as this is a cultural thing that girls use as beauty care.
Im not sure. Usually it takes me 20-25 minutes if i include conditioning my hair, overthinking, giving an opinion to an argument I've had 4 years ago, and crying.
But if im in a real hurry, i can do a 5-minute shower

When I have to shower I'm in and out in less than 10 minutes (including washing my hair and shaving). I only do it when I'm in a hurry though and prefer to take long baths instead. Usually for about a hour. I spend most of this time with reading though.
I can shower quick, but my fiance's hair is so goddamn thick, and there's so much of it, that it takes her almost as long just to get it completely wet as it does me to shower completely.
Honestly I have whole concerts in the shower for like 15 minutes😂 then ya know u gotta talk to ya self and have fake arguments for 10 minutes. Then like I actually shower/wash for 15 minutes 🤷🏽😂 and stand under the water doing nothing for another 10 minutes😂😂
5 minute shower? Do you even wash right? I doubt that... we have so much skin that needs to be scrubbed other than your hair and not just slightly touched by your loofa.
Having said that, there is also no need for a 30 minute shower, no one is that dirty!!
and having said that!!! I do take super long but that’s because I detangle my hair gently and then leave the shampoo for 2.5 k minutes and conditioner on while I scrub the entire tub and walls so it’s nice and clean!

Yep. Im not shaving my legs and exfoliating every time I get in the shower... So there certainly IS a difference between just getting clean and taking the time to shave.

Yes girls take longer time to shower, but it depends on girls, my sister n all of our female Flatmates take around 40 mins to 1 fucking hour in the shower, but it takes me only 15 to 20 mins n the guy in out flat takes around 30 minutes. Sometimes I don't even know what are they doing inside the bathroom that take them an hour just to shower...
I like to relax cause my muscles are always sore from working so much. Also my hair treatments such as Having to leave it on for a certain amount of time. Also I have my dog shower with me so it’s twice as longer xD she just likes the water hitting her. It’s very relaxing! And I like to take at least 30 to 45 minutes. Depending how I feel.

Washing hair takes a long time when it's long (like mine). Shampooing, rinsing, applying conditioner and getting rid of tangled hair.
Shaving also takes time, and washing carefully every single spot of our body.

I think it really just depends with the day. Personally I dont like water but I have to bath right? So most days I take 5to 10 minutes but I have natural afro hair so on days that I need to wash and comb it I take like an hour. So usually it's just the hair that drags our time.
Personally some days I tske a ten minute shower and other days I take a half our to a full hour gotta make sure I'm clean someone who smells bad isn't someone people want to be around, and the women in my life take somewhere around 8-20 minutes kinda like me just making sure they are clean and there is nothing wrong with that so guys and girls can both take long showers just depends on the personality of the individual
I shave, wash my hair, face, whole body, scrub off dead skin, and then I put on conditioner, toner, moisturizer, blow dry my hair.

Well shaving can take 10 minutes if she does full body like me, and extra 5 minutes for shampoo and conditioning, and an extra 5 minutes for washing the body so it takes 20 minutes I would say
Even if I take my time 15 minutes max. Hot showers do feel great after a long day but if you need to be there long for that, you just need better exercise and diet.

I feel awkward now I've read this question and some of the answers since I spend about 30 minutes in the shower and I'm a guy.
Not for that. I just have a process for showering that seems to take a while to complete. I haven't had a 5-minute shower since I was a child. And If I take a fast one (15 minutes for me) I don't feel very clean (like I might as well not have showered at all).
I never take a shower longer than maybe 5-6 minutes. I don't understand how anyone could spend as much time as half an hour in there. Unless there's two present.
Most my showers are pretty quick. Bout 5 min max. But I do take longer ones sometimes because I just wanna soak in the steam and listen to music.

I think it depends on the person. My brother for example takes unbelievably long showers! Longer than anyone I've ever known! But I do think in general, women have more to do in there than we do lol. Washing their hair, shaving etc.

I put in another 2nd shower head on the opposite wall because when showering together the other is always blocking the water.
