Why are older women not as needy as younger women and more willing to give men space to do their own things?

Question

I became friends with many women, younger women are needy, expect texts, meetings, etc...
but older women do not mind giving you space to deal with life, they expect the same from you, they however expect both sides to respond when contacted, but they are not needy and won't change no matter how distant you get.. why older women are more willing to give men space?

Because many went through he'll that no woman or man shpuld go through. And not all of us were needy when we were younger either. It's all about personality type, environment and temperament, not just experience or lack of or mindset. Many younger girls feel like their on the clock so they have to get great guys to either experience sex with or to claim to settle down with eventually, regardless if they want marriage or children, etc. I'm the same way, I just gree tired of men on that level other than friendship. But that can be the same said for most people.

However what you have overall is a generalization. Your just attracting people who may be either emotionally unavailable or is a bit mature then than the girls who are needy for any guy to pay attention to them. Just remember the golden rule: women overall want male attention. But not everybody wants the same type of attention.

It's not an Age thing it's an Individual trait. I was never Needy, always gave Men their Space, very Independent. In fact Men use to to Complain I gave too much Space they wanted a little neediness, dependence, pulling on them... In the past, if I called him and he didn't get back to me in a few days a week or so I didn't keep calling when they did return my call if i was available all was good if I wasn't we would get together when I had time. They would say why didn't you call a 2nd or 3rd time I would say I don't Stalk my boyfriend's if they have time great if they don't that is good too. Now, its calling or Texting if a few days go by and that's not normal for the guy I'll shoot a text and say hey are you ok? Married now so I don't really have to deal with any of that stuff...

Maturity, experience and lessons learned. Older women have gone through all the fantasy expectations that younger girls cling to. They themselves have grown out of them. They are more secure in who they are, and they don't "need" a man to reinforce that constantly. They already have a life without you and they're inviting you to participate in it, not "become it" Older women also understand that the fastest way to lose a guy you want to keep, is to smother him. They WANT you to have a life too, and invite them in, but not become the "only thing" in your life either.

Most young girls think the way to keep your boyfriend interested is to put a rope around his neck, react poorly if he even talks to another girl, and kill him if he doesn't answer your text in 30 seconds, even if he's driving. LOL

I can't speak for all women, but I don't have the time or patience for nonsense. When I'm with someone, I give him his "me time" to do his own thing, and expect the same from him.

It's called having healthy boundaries and not being too dependent on your partner to provide your happiness.

Older women aren’t as needy b/c we have learned that we don’t need a man to feel good about ourselves and boost our confidence. Our self esteem is usually higher and so is our knowledge on how things really are. I see my boyfriend on weekends and that’s it. We live two different lives and do our own thing

in my experience, I was extremely clingy and then I started to like someone else much better than previous guy. and the current guy that I interested in doesn't make me feel insecure and needy. somehow I feel calm liking someone much older than me and as I'm getting older. 😅

I feel like it is because young women nowadays, especially with social media and all that, have become more insecure about themselves and feel they need to keep their boyfriend close and strive for compliments and gratitude.

Older women are more experienced and don’t need to constantly be certain that their boyfriend loves them, as they know that. They have more trust than the generally more insecure, young women have.
