Why do women wear obviously sexually-implied/intentioned clothing and then lash out when they receive unwanted attention, labels, and behavior? (Page 2)
It's pretty long and a bit unnecessary text you have written because this is not a fault of women. If a guy is overjudgmental and had bad vibes about women's clothing, that's HIS FAULT. Honor and glory are both so sensitive and vital notions these mustn't be considered on women and their clothes what they've worn. Each woman deserves unrequited value and admiration because of being women and a mother at first. I have never judged someone hence she'd worn short mini skirts or revealing breast cleavage on top.
When Man or a woman wear anything they dont owe anyone. and no one owes them a comment or an action. I have a tattoo and were i am from i got accused of being a devil worshipper or an addict for having a tattoo. And i am neither and i dont want people to perceive me as Such. I got inked because i think its cool, different, tells a story. I imagine women do it the same with sexy dresses. She want to look cool, stylish... free and feels that her body is not only a sexual commodity to be hidden and so she flaunts it. I notice this attitude with many men including myself. That when there is a beautiful young woman around then we have some unearned right to talk to her or comment about the way she dresses or her body. Women do it to each others as well. I only started to be mindful of my attitude when i got the tattoo and got judged as well
I dunno. I dress modestly and men always respect me. I think if you have all your cleavage and ass hanging out and get catcalled or wear skin tight clothes and get catcalled then it looks like you’re hungry for the attention. I know what men are like and I have a slim hourglass figure so I don’t go around flaunting it. I wear loose dresses and they’re never too short.
And then they complain that all men are pigs, who only want sex. (remember @ Ashcammm from Twitter?) Duh.
imagine wearing a cop suit but you're not a cop and all the women are running towards you thinking you'll save them from their violent and abusive boyfriend. Only so that you tell them "oh. YOU thought i am a police officer because i look like a police officer? I'm not. I'm actually working as a fashion designer. I can't do anything to arrest your abusive boyfriend".
same logic applies here. yes, women can wear whatever the hell they want. dress like a slut. Be perceived as one. Be treated as one.
i would like some downvotes in tear sauce please and a big sparkling snowflake soda.
I don't give a fuck about what anyone wears and no one interests me so much in order to be positively or negatively affected by their clothing or lack of. But even if I was, it is none of my business. Does it harm you in any way? Does it harm other people? If not, it should be none of your business as well.

Well, I can’t say that I really care about what anyone wears either, but the subconscious thoughts and feelings you experience cannot he avoided. So, if you see a man wearing a t-shirt saying “Fuck Minorities, Whites Rule” I’m almost certain you’ll feel differently about that person without even really knowing them, would you agree? Now, you could feel differently about them once you got to know them more beyond just seeing them wearing that t-shirt, but nonetheless, their clothing would tell you something about them subconsciously upon first seeing them
Such beliefs harm people in both a direct and an indirect way. A naked or semi naked girl doesn't harm anyone in any fucking way. Do not compare different things.
You’re understanding what I’m saying. I’m saying, we, as humans, make our judgements on what we see and experience from other humans. So, this can be in the form of behavior, clothing, etc. Of course this isn’t a 100% complete or accurate description of the person, but nonetheless I believe most people create automatic and subconscious assumptions about someone from what they can see and experience, clothing being the topic of focus here.
@Account 'having beliefs harms people' but also 'dressing half naked in inappropriate places is harmless'. I'm gonna think, like many men, this double standard is the result of propaganda.
Do you walk around in a tux or suite to impress the women, or for yourself. Do you go the gym and flex... for the women or for yourself? I think the problem is we are being selfish and assumptive. They do want attention, but they don't want that attention, or from that volume of attention, or at that time. They want to be free to be who they are without imposition but still be seen. it's a female:)
Depends on who's giving the attention. If you're what they're looking for, they love the attention. If they're not into you, you're harassing them. In reality, whether you're giving them attention or not they are still dressing for the attention. It's the same logic when if comes to telling you they don't want something for an occassion but expect you to get something anyway. Do you listen to them or do you assume their intentions? I give them a dose of reality and don't get them anything if they tell me not to. When they bitch about it, I straight up tell them I'm not into playing games and just listened to what they said. Dressing sexy is just another one of those games they play.

Because they do, by the right kind of men.
Think about a store owner, he Dosn t want broke people coming in to window shop. He wants people with money.
Women dress as if they are the goods and only certain men with certain attributes can approach.
1 more points is women dress for other women.
Its not the guy they compete over but the resources that man is worth. ,, its going to be me riding around in his bmw, not this skank,, kind of thing.
Or they want to feel sexy, or they want attention for attentions sake. Never. ever. ever give Any one free validation or attention, attention is currency to women that think their only value is their looks. So don't waste it.
Someone calls you a slut sure lash out someone grabs your ass sure lash out but if you are wearing something really "slutty" and guys look at you bit longer than normal or something similar you have no right to lash out on that (I mean if i see a hot girl in bar dancing wearing some nice "slutty" outfit ofcourse i wanna go dance with her because it seems she is here to have a good time)
I like to dress like this occasionally. Yes, I show a lot of legs. I'm short and this makes me look less short. Would you give me some flak for dressing like this?

No, I think that’s a rather nice and modest dress, but that’s not quite what I’m referring to. The examples I provided above are what really capture what I’m getting at. The dress is neutral enough that I wouldn’t be able to gauge one way or the other what your certain views are on certain things. I’d most likely just think you were sexy and had a good fashion sense.
Some people can be strange. I'd dress slutty and expect to be ridiculed. Instead, I got compliments for being bold & daring. That was weird but pleasant. Then, there are times that I got accused of being inappropriate for were tight leggings/jeggings & fit t-shirt.
You do understand what my point is though right? If you’re having some confusion, may you please read the above if you haven’t and briefly gloss through some of the stuff I’ve said among users on here as well
You're right but if i cover myself with blood and chum and jump in shark infested waters i may not be asking to gwt attacked but i am knowingly doing something that tips the scales in that direction.
@ChiTown33 why would you compare a shark, who is attracted to blood and not traumatizing someone's life, to a piece of shit rapist? Don't bother telling me I'm right and then start talking out of your ass.
If I see you in public, I will hit you in the head with a hammer. I mean you weren't wearing a helmet, I just can't help myself, and your face is just so... hittable. Do you realize how stupid you sound?
@ChiTown33 not only that, what if your mother got raped? Or your sister, cousin, daughter? Are you really going to ask them that? If so, I feel bad for them.
Although, why do I have to reference a woman in your life, for you to give a shit about women?
First let me be clear I am not comparing women with objects Now when people decorate their home buy expensive showpiece that only means that they want to be complimented for their beautiful home most people appreciate it and compliment But some with dark or wild (whichever works) heart can see this as invitation to steal right Same is with women they want to be complimented, acknowledged and appreciated (some are way worse exceptions right) So it speaks more about the observer than the person being obaerved
Well... I don't think it's right to judge people based on their clothes... especially based on all the "criteria" that society is throwing at people... just think... view on friends (social pressure and trying to be cool), face control in clubs, magazines, the "beauty standards" nowadays, insecurities... I am sure everybody would much rather be walking around in comfortable fluffy pyjamas... 👍
I'm sorry to have to inform you, but she may not be wearing it for you. She may be wearing it to entice someone specific (specifically not you). While her clothes are 'broadcasting intent' and a huge clue, it's most likely for a guy that she has preselected (not you).
I invited someone to dip in my pool and she brought her sexy swimsuit.
My roommate assumes that she wants me and doesn't try to rape my date. My roommate is cool. Be like my roommate.
They only want attention from the men they find attractive I imagine. However, I do not care what a woman wears because it makes zero difference to me. I'm the only one that decides whether they have my attention or not (often not).
Your attention is energy, guard it as you would anything else of value.
Because the way a woman dresses more often than not isn't about men (or women if thats who you're attracted to) its about embracing themselves and being confident. Its just kinda annoying that we're over here being queens and you just have to come in and ruin it. Although not all men ruin it by flirting, its just when you do it in a catcalling way or if we obviously aren't into it and you keep coming onto us.
It's that age old contradiction they have. Then what's worse is that, they will dress sexual and like it if one guy gives them attention or says something about their body, but they will hate it if another guy they think is "creepy" or ugly does the same thing. They want to pick and choose which guys should be allowed to give attention or comments when it doesn't work that way. Any guy will do it regardless of whether you like him or not.
Tbh I think people need to realise either stop caring about people acting this way when you dress like this because I feel like it's quite natural just more men are confident enough to say something like if you see a guy in a super deep vneck or no shirt you react to that

Stop prejudging women for their clothes.

Women are still raped wearing burkas. It's not about the clothes, but about the perpetrator thinking that behavior is okay.
You're right but if i cover myself with blood and chum and jump in shark infested waters i may not be asking to gwt attacked but i am knowingly doing something that tips the scales in that direction.

It's called common sense hun you wither have it or you don't if you don't have it i can't help you :)
@ChiTown33 I agree the best way to prevent rape, is not fucking rape. Common sense.
Yes these women don't understand that dresses can send messages to the people around you
I'm sick and tired of women complaining about this shit
"We want to wear whatever we want " sorry lady you can't have everything in this world
If your gonna wear something at least be aware of it
I get that catcalling and sexual harassment is completely on the guy
I'm trying to say some dresses make people uncomfortable
Women should at least be self aware of all this shit
I realized one thing is that women don't wear all these dresses to impress men but to impress other women ( i do not understand the logic in that )
Even then women also make comments about other women's dresses but they don't make it obvious
Slut shaming is often done by other women
So take that you lousy feminists
First let me be clear I am not comparing women with objects

because maybe you were not attractive enough. Women never complain about being hit on by hot guys.
