Is it normal for a nonsensitive woman to become sensitive after you personally get to know her?

Is it normal for a woman you wouldn't consider sensitive and come off as mean. But then I got to know her and we are now flirting with each other and talking about communicating better so we can last in the future.

Fast forward I recently noticed that she easily become upset at me and sensitive. No matter who else is doing something that makes her mad. She some how gets upset at me. I apologize after she tells me why she's mad or upset at me. I give her a hug and hold her for a minute or 2. Give her space and she's back happy.

Is it normal for a woman who is usually mean looking or come off as a mean woman to all of a sudden become a sensitive like a baby?

If it's normal why does she cling on to my every word. She even jump ahead when I'm talking to her. She goes way ahead and I'm not even about to say what she thinks I'm about to say.

It seems as if no matter what me hugging her makes everything better.

OMG. This is exactly me. I am the kind that looks like a mean bitch but inside i am just a softie. It's hard for me to open up and be myself around strangers. People who're really close to me knows that i am very very sensitive and sometimes i take jokes way too seriously over analyzing it and weep about it.
I have noticed that once i start to become close with a guy, i start lowering my walls down slowly (opening up) and i start analyzing his texts and sometimes i just conclude some of his texts or talks as me being undesirable to him and stuff. It could be because of my insecurity. I have mood swings too.
It's easy to understand when i am upset because i shut down. So my friends just come and ask me and they just reassure me what they meant before which mostly is different from what i thought. This only happens with close people and not with acquaintances. It's because i want them to see me the same way i see them.
Let me just say you're so sweet for trying to understand her character and reassuring her by a hug🥰🥰🥰. It's because you're one of those lucky people who got to know her well.

Oh no that's what I want. I'm trying to better understand her. Recently I was joking with another woman and she came an aggressively grabbed something out of my hand whole slightly shoving me with her body and putting something she owns that's similar to what was in my hand back in my hand. I asked the woman did she think she was mad. She said yes and I said at who. She replied at you. I went gave her a hug I spoke to her and asked her what I did. She told me. I gave her a hug apologized and she told me to leave her alone.

2 mins later she's back laughing at my jokes and starring at me from a distance. She's never mad long after I give her a hug and actually talk to her. She hates not talking to me. I got to talk to her. She's starting to act more like a baby to me.

Smiled and said now if you let me finish you would of found out that I was actually talking about... And I laugh as she realize she over analyzed what I said. She really gets like this when I talk and joke with other women and she can't hear what is being said. She tend to become extremely upset at small things I do. Or she will just ask what are y'all talking about ir what's so funny?

OMG. This is exactly me. I get jealous easily and doubt if my guy gives more priority to someone or is more happy with someone else. Then after when i meet him, i am bitter towards him and tend to shut down. Then after when we just talk it out and i am reassured about what i am to him, i am more at peace and go back to being happy just like that. It's called mood swings and insecurity too.
After some days when i think about it, i feel so childish and sorry to that person but i just can't control it if it happens in the future.
After few such breakdowns and lots of reassuring, i start to feel secure with the guy because i trust him.

We had a heart to heart talk. Were I told her we have to communicate better. We are both stubborn and do small things to make each other mad. We know how to make each other mad. I been in this for almost 5 years. I'm the most consistent guy in her life. We're friends. But recently we act more like a couple now. But we are both happy. She does have trust issues her past relationships caused that. About 8 months ago she also had feelings for someone that didn't go well. I told her so. She didn't listen now she's starting to listen and see I have her best interest at heart.

But because I'm also flirting now too. Everything I say holds heavier than anyone else. When it comes to her hair, clothes etc.

I told her i will be patient with her. She has to communicate better with me anf vice versa I don't communicate well either. This my first time actually trying to work on something with s woman.
