I don't have one. I haven't had a dishwasher since '07 when I left home. Sure I could buy one but I have this OCD problem w/dishes and bathrooms! lol

My biggest help in the kitchen is my boyfriend. He does the dishes for me as I'm cooking so there is less to do when the meal is done.

I don't have a dishwasher, but I would love one. Then again, I don't generate a lot of dishes and it's a bit wasteful for me.

If you do home cooking and eating, even as one person, I dirty lots of pots and pans. And DW does better cleaning job.

That's true, but I'm working on getting in the habit of cleaning my dishes as I go.

Part of the wasteful aspect is using that much water to do dishes for just me. I'd rather put in the extra elbow grease to handwash than waste water.

When we lived in town I loved it and yes except for the washing machine (clothes) it's probably what I miss most

Not really, we have one but I think in all these years we have only used it once. We normally wash everything by hand.

Yeah, I dislike washing the dishes with the hand. I run mine often 1/3 empty because I dislike if the dried food remains don't get cleaned.

Also I do rinse the dishes off before I put them in the dishwasher, but the dishwasher gets really hot and sterilizes the dishes.

In Asian households, dishwasher is not very common here. We still do it manually. 😭 Lol! Just hoping it'll be more available here.

Doing dishes are a pain.. not necessarily a fun chore. Dishwashers of course are a godsend but its still; a pain to do dishes

I hate washing dishes. I put it in dishwasher sometimes but S/O prefers to hand wash. I get overwhelmed with glass cups and pot grease. I just throw in dishwasher on hot temperature. Great help.

Graters and electric choppers are mpst helpful to me.
I am the dishwasher. It's so quick and easy. If any wares are trouble, just soak it.

Gloves can help with preventing dry hands.
