Guys: Why do you sometimes never take initiative?

Let me explain, me and a guy friend met and flirted for about 5 months. It was clear to me that he liked me however it took me a few months to see him as more than a friend. Anyway, by the end of the school semester, I noticed he never made a move. He would give me strong hints and toward the end so did i. I finally plucked up the courage and told him how I felt. He said he also has a crush on me . But guess what guys? he said nothing more and we went our separate ways. It is now summer break, he has my number and ways to contact me but I've heard nothing from him. So I'm confused ... give me you're input guys.

Wow. If a girl told me that she like me, then I would of jumped on that opportunity. I think that he is nervous and doesn't want to mess up the friendship/relationship that you two have.

Some guys are just deathly shy. I use to be this way. It took me years to learn to love myself, and develop enough confidence, to stop running away from the girls that liked me.
