‘Friend’ jokes about stealing my boyfriends?

I’ve got this ‘friend’ who always seems to want every guy I have. She is dating my ex currently, and she said she was sorry. I was extremely angry at her because she did it behind my back and lied to me about it. She also rubs it in my face constantly. She ‘jokes’ about ‘stealing’ my new current boyfriend, even though she’s dating my ex. She says it’s a joke, but I do not trust her. What is wrong with her? I can’t unfriend her because she’s part of a larger circle of friends.

Don't let her wind you up like that. She's having you feel insecure so your boyfriend has to deal with it and may get annoyed and leave you, so then she gets a chance.
Distance yourself from her, avoid too much interaction. Do keep her close as she's an enemy. But act like she doesn't stand a chance and she'll get a bit of a shock.

Honestly act cool always and giggle at her, don't take it seriously. Say she's only with your ex because you allowed it but you can instantly change that. It'll get her good that. I've made a guy go all scared when I told him I could swoop his girlfriend like that (after he was acting like he's better than me). He lost his cool lol funny as hell

The douche told her and she asked me out but I rejected her and she lost her shit aswell 😭 i even told her I have a small one infront of people and her 'friend' burst out laughing. I think I took way too far 😂 I eventually let her down gently by saying I live too far away. So tread carefully lol I'd not push it knowing the chaos but if you like that sorta thing it's a laugh

Yes, you can unfriend her but you choose not to do so. If she is typical of your circle of friends, it does not sound like it would be a great loss.

Well, they’re not all like that :) some of them are loyal, and they’re all fun to be with. It’s also hard to make new friends in the pandemic

You can most definitely unfriend her. She’s shady and sounds like she really isn’t a friend in general. I get the larger group of friends thing, but what’s more important, saving face and biting your tongue? Or putting yourself first and doing what’s best for you?

Thanks :) Because of the pandemic and that I’m at uni, I literally can’t unfriend all of them because I won’t have any female friends left 😂

I wouldn’t say unfriend all of your friends lol but definitely this girl that not only started dating your ex, but is talking about dating your new one. I think your other girlfriends would (and should!) understand and support your choice. If they don’t, we’re they really friends in the first place?

I did already confront her about it in a ‘joking’ way to play the same game back, but she acted all innocent and denied ever ‘meaning’ to do anything bad. I know how sneaky she is so it’s tough 😂

She probably envies you, she thinks you are better looking or wants your life and she is not a true friend or a good person. I would unfriend her. If a buddy of mine did that he would no longer be a friend of mine. That's just not something someone who cares about or respects you does.

She wants to hurt you by doing that.

I had a friend that did the same thing I unfriendly her and I feel a lot better without her.
