I was seeing this chick for a couple of months until I decided to cut it off. I considered it a situationship, but I wasn’t comfortable with her flaking and seeing other dudes, so I just told her we had a good run and to go our separate ways.

She was totally ok with it. I wasn’t planning on seeing her again. However, from time to time, she would send me stupid emojis or a gif without actually saying anything, so I just ignored it.

8 months later, which is now, she starts texting me full sentences asking how I am, what I’m doing, etc. I’m wondering, why is she all of a sudden interested in me now? It’s been a while and I’ve moved on. Did she run out of options?
