Why do older women think cutting their hair super short makes them look younger?

some woman cut it short because with kids and other things work etc its a lot of up keep and work, some have hormone issues leading to hair loss and cut it so it doesn't appear as thin, you never know why most people do anything unless you ask instead of making blanketed statements. and no longer hair normally they grow for the appearance of youth not cutting their hair. amber rose doesn't look butch by any means.

its like females saying oh a guy has a beard to cover up that he is ugly or big muscles due to a very small penis red flags!! or your beloved sports stars with long hair truly must be secretly closet with their long hair and man buns, its a stupid assumption in any regard on both genders.

Those women are crazy for doing that. Longer hair is always better for women. It doesn't have to be extremely long but like shoulder length at least

But I'm sure they can't be all bad... right? To answer your question though, maybe it's because longer hair has more visible flaws, such as split ends, than short hair does. As a result, the shorter hairstyle can make an aging person look semi-fresh for their age. But I don't know, that's all just speculation.

I don't know but it's not something I think about. I think when women cut their hair shorter it's just for change or it can signify that she's more independent.

I've always enjoyed short hair even as a young child. Especially since my hair has always taken forever to grow out. I just keep it short. Nothing to do with being "over the hill" hahaha
