Would you let your man influence your clothing style?

Like say he wants you to wear more modestly, show less skin, wear less tight clothes, maybe ditch the perfume, wear no make up, no high heals, etc? Would you be okay with that and compromise your style for him? Why and why not?

I like this girl but I would only commit to her if she dresses more appropriately according to my standards, is that selfish of me or is it my right?

I been married almost 11 years now and we just moved to a different state. New home and new start. I was so happy when my husband was open to me changing my style. He suggested ideas for me and I absolutely loved it. I got tired of dressing the old way and thought that this move could free me from the past. I wanted to try something new. I rarely wore makeup anyway and got rid of it. I ditched the skinny jeans as well because honestly I hated wearing them. I wanted to find the dress style that helps me be free.

Yeah that wouldn't work for me. Boys get shitty about how a girl dresses believing they have a right to make demands (they don't). A man however accepts her as she is and support her because they realise if they try to change her, she won't be the person that first attracted her.
Or to put it in simple language - stop being a dick.

I heard that some women dress a certain way just to attract a man but after they settle down they don't mind changing their style for their man to feel more secure..

This is why it's known that women are hotter when they are single because they wanna look more attractive to attract men while when they're in a relationship they wanna wear modest to keep their men's security and admiration for them or something..

But I don't know which type this girl is, the one who's willing to change styles after settling down or the one who doesn't give a fuck.

Even if I demanded that from her I won't be a dick, I would tell her I like her but I won't be comfortable with guys drooling over her everywhere, that's just wrong for me and I don't accept it? And of course if she doesn't like that then we aren't not right for each other and we should admit our incompatibility and move on peacefully. So I'm not being a dick at all, in fact you're being a bitch for saying that to me.

Of course I would, he could give me suggestions if he wants, or buy me clothes he'd like me to wear. For example, my husband does this and I'll wear what he buys me.

I see.. Do you miss your old clothing style tho? Are you happy wearing what he likes in public despite the negative comments you might get from your friends or family?

I still have my own style that I wear, my typical routine. Naturally I wouldn't wear anything that would put me in a bad light, or make people think negatively of me. Fortunately my husband isn't like that, for example he really likes skirts and cocktail dresses, occasionally when we're going out I'll wear those for him. Especially when he treats me to dinners. I know he wouldn't try to embarrass me by wearing something I wouldn't like either, he takes my interests to heart too.
