I'm talking about the Amazons from Greek Mythology. So do not joke about the website or river.Firstly, yes, they did have their own civilization, like in the Wonder Woman franchise. However, their patron god and ancestor was Ares, the Greek god of war and the worst aspects of it. Ares was the most violent and brutal of the Greek gods, so he was also one of the most hated. And their lifestyle really reflected their choice in a patron god! Their lives revolved around hunting, fighting, and killing. After all, if literally the most violent god on Mount Olympus is your father, you're not gonna be much of a girly girl.Despite their violent lifestyle as warriors, the Amazons were described as beautiful. Achilles fell in love with Penthesilea, one of their queens, after seeing her face. And those two tried to kill each other beforehand! But there's a problem. Some myths about them said that the Amazons raped men in order to have children, killed/crippled their male babies, or enslaved their mates to only do housework and breed.Warrior women, descendants of a god, feminist icons, alleged rapists and misandrists. Men, what are your thoughts on the Amazons from Greek mythology? Would you date/marry one if they were real?
Superb Opinion
Warrior women = As long as they were sane and knew consent, sure.
Descendants of a god = Wonder Woman? Hell yeah.
Feminist icons = Nah. Miss me with that sh*t.
Alleged rapists and misandrists = No way.
So it's a flip of the coin on which one I'd be getting. I like tall, curvy women (like 5'10" and up) and women who are physically strong without being masculine or butch. I was thinking more of Amazons like this.
