If a guy is really serious and quiet, but he is extremely laid back and confident enough to ask out any woman he is attracted to and moves on if they aren't interested.

Or is it true women only like the men that are 'charming' or flirty and outgoing.

Yes, I find the serious and quiet type more attractive because a lot of the time they come off as very mature. I feel more relaxed being myself and I find that I talk more when I am around that type of man. I'm not into the flirty type because they make me uncomfortable for some reason. I really wouldn't care if the guy is outgoing as long as he likes spending time with me and he's comfortable being around my friends and family.

I once met a lady who told me, she always wanted to marry a man who is quiet and serious but because they only had arranged marriage in their culture, she ended up with her current husband. her husband was so talkative, and too funny.!

so yes there are women who would LOVE to have a man like that. :)

I certainly don't mind quiet, laid back, confident guys, but I'm not much into the really serious types. I like a guy that is a little quirky, and goofy, and isn't afraid to be silly sometimes. And a fantastic sense of humour is a must, of course. :-)

i think all these things are really good as long as its not too much, for example if your too laid back the girl will think your not interested. if your too confident the girl will think your cocky and annoying, if your too quiet they will find it hard to talk to you and that's bad, or if your too serious they will feel they can't joke around and have fun in your presence.

As long as you are all these things in moderation then its a good thing, good luck!

guys who are really serious aren't my type. I like someone who is cheerful, outgoing and loves life. he can be serious when appropriate but a generally serious guy isn't going to attract me with his personality. the only way I'd be interested in a guy like that is if he was really really really fine...other than that probably not sorry!

I love serious and calm guys... In fact, I can't really stand the "attention whore"- kind of guy, who always wants to be center of everything. Flirty, charming, funny and active guys don't give me much..

I like both but the laid back type more because (at least where I live) there aren't many guys like that. The charming flirty ones aren't bad per say but they are very common and usually flirt with other girls. Just my opinion. Hope this helps!

I prefer the quieter more thoughtful guys. Because the ones I know tend to be the ones that seem to care more for their girls. I've been with a flirty and outgoing guy and he absolutely drives me up the wall. In other words we clash very badly. He will seem nice and devoted then he will go and look and flirt with other girls. WHILE HE'S STILL WITH ME! So ya. I really do prefer the quiet ones, I'm quiet myself.

Those three things pretty much make up what I look for in a guy. The really boisterous and flirty types seem too capricious and shallow, I can't see myself having any connection with them. I wish there were more guys who acted like you say you do
