Kinda blew her off. How do I fix this situation?

I will try to make this brief. Several weeks ago a friend of an ex texted me because she heard I got an award. I texted her back and she said she would like to see me because it has been years since we saw each other. I said yeah okay and invited her to my art studio. She shared dates that she could come by and I didn't get back to her because I got really busy with projects. A couple of weeks ago by and she texted me that she still wants to come by my art studio. I told her I was crazy busy but maybe soon. She said okay and for me to let her know. I didn't. Today, while running errands, I bumped into her which is wild because so many years and we didn't bump into each other ever. She didn't seem happy to see me. So, I apologized for not getting back to her and she said it was cool and that she said she had to go. I know I kinda blew her off. How do I fix this?
