I’m 20 years old and I honestly think most people think I’m in my mid or late 20s or just older than my age. I personally don’t think I look old or anything. wear makeup but not a lot of it. Just foundation, concealer, and mascara and it always looks rlly smooth and glowy and I’m good with my eyebrows. I’ve been told I have great skin. I’ve seen girls with way more makeup than me and I can still tell theyre younger. But I am aware I carry myself very maturely. I’m super outspoken and have been called articulate many of times. I think I definitely act older.
I’ve been told many times that I’m pretty or beautiful and a couple of years ago at the doctors office, an older woman told me I looked no older than 16. I literally wore the same makeup then as I do now. Since yesterday was Mother’s Day, I told all my coworkers Mother’s Day. One I told my age before but I think she forgot. Months later ( today ) I told her happy Mother’s Day and she asked if I had any kids. I laughed it off then told her I was only 20 and she looked slightly embarrassed and she was like “you still could have kids at that age”. Another coworker said she asked an 18 year old that yesterday and said she was pretty.

Another coworker had asked me that last year when I first got to the job. I had also gotten it when I was 16 and was a lot younger. Why do people keep asking me this? I don’t get it often though and When I’m out with my mom, people still know that she’s my mom. Lol, I’m also very tiny and slim and 5’5. I’m clean cut and I just don’t know why people think this?
