Why do women's confidence immediately plummet when they get rejected?

Given the positive reinforcements that women get from men on social media regarding their level of attractiveness, why is it that when women get rejected or dumped even once their confidence plummets immensely?

Take for example the woman in the opening video below. She was full of confidence and stating men should be worthy of having her initially. In a subsequent video, she was rejected by a guy she liked and is sobbing to strangers on the internet over it and doesn't even bother maintaining her appearance to what it original was.

Keep in mind men have to go through with this type of behavior all the time and often approach 100's of women before they get one to give them a chance at dating. Yet, men aren't sobbing online to strangers over it.

It's not women just women that are pampered and raised like a princess that act like that. There are women out there that can handle rejection better than men.

Personally, my self-esteem definitely lowers after getting rejected because I somehow manage to convince my self that my insecurities were the reason that they rejected me and then I feel like absolute shit. For me; it doesn't get to the point where I start crying but I feel like that's more of a personal thing and doesn't apply to just females.
