I have been researching the psychology of dating recently and in some scenarios I have found that the girl is less attracted to the guy than the guy is to her. Generally speaking what causes one party to be less attracted to the other. Also is it really true that girls are less likely to pursue a guy unless her attraction is equal or greater?
Men and women are built differently. For a guy, attraction can be really quickly, a guy can be attracted to a girl by simply liking her physical appearance unlike girls. For women, the attraction grows slowly with time, you need to build attraction based on your looks, your confidence, your kindness and other personality traits.
So it's okay if a girl likes you less then you like her, patience is key. If you really willing to invest your time on this girl then wait and build the attraction that you hope for.

Attraction of looks is 95% the aspect people first notice. Be it in a picture or meeting in person. We are judgmental and creatures of preferences.
Attraction is individualistic and subjective. You don'o nott know how someone's mind works only what your interpretation of their perspective is.
Attraction pass looks falls in terms of intelligence, similar likes, personality and etc.
