Girls, why would you touch a guy’s tummy and get really close to him?

There is this girl that i like and she did that.

she grabbed my upper arm and pulled me towards her and the wall behind us, so that my back was against the wall. Then she removed her hand from my arm and put it on my belly while she was talking, and was really close to me, like right under my nose. Then she said something which i dont remember because of nervousness and then just stared at me.

when she did that i got really nervous and leaned away so that her hand didn't touch me anymore. i couldnt really lean that much away because like i said, she put me against the wall.

She noticed the gap between her hand and my tummy and after a second she put her hand again on my tummy. She wasny saying anything and just looked at me while i was looking down on the floor due to being nervous.

why did she do that?

She just kept her hand on my tummy and looked at me while saying nothing. I’m not sure why she did that.

The day before this happened she asked me” why do you get so nervous?” I said “idk”. She must have picked up that i get nervous. I get nervous because i like her.

She then asked me “do you feel nervousness around girls? Have you never talked to them? Dont you have a girlfriend?” And i said no.

That’s all that happened.

Yes i have seen her for a week after that. She didn't really bring anything up regarding what happened. She would just initiate convos that’s all.
I can't really talk to her that well because its hard. She is always the one who says “hi, how are you” and stuff, asking me about my life, hobbies, education etc.
She asked me the nervous question again after that while she asked about my education.

She said “did you study at a boys only college?”. I said no. She then asked “why do you get so shy and nervous around girls then?”. I didn't know what to say so i just gave a smile.

by the way one thing i have missed is prior to this and the touching:

What happened is that we were a group of 20 and we played Never Have I Ever and she said “never have i ever had a crush on someone in this room” and started to look at me.

I didn't say anything because i was scared. After a minute or so she said “(my name), you can open up now, i have high expectations from you”. I’m not sure what she meant by that. And after that the tummy stuff happened.

I think she knows that i like her maybe.

I don't know... if I liked a guy, I wouldn't say, what she said in that game in the room. I wouldn't touch his belly either... she did look at you though, after saying that.

The more I am thinking about this, seems like she is teasing you/ or testing you.

So, maybe she is seeing how you will react towards that, because after all, she is asking you questions... Is she younger than you are?

I don't agree with her touching your belly though. I think that's over stepping a boundary.

Yea she's younger than me, 3 years younger.

When I like a guy-- he will know it. If I got my eye on a guy I like, I want 'him' to know that. If he and I are not too close yet, I wouldn't be touching his belly, no.

She may have said, I never had a crush on anyone in this room-- because she doesn't know where she stands with you. She did look at you after she said it, thoug. then she said, open up now.

She is asking questions but, it's still talking to you.

I’m not sure if i have said it but i have asked my sister and she told me that no girl touches a guy’s belly that she doesn't know well. She told me it was a hint and i asked her “what kind of hint?” and she said “the other kind of hint”.

Yeh... I agree with your sister, like I said before... I wouldn't do that to a guy, I dont know well enough. You said she is 3 years younger, so earlier tonight when I said she probaly just likes you. I should have mentioned... that she likes you maybe in the way your sister is saying. Or she really does like you, and just doesn't know better enough, because she's too young to know that she's crossing a boundary. You may like the touch of her hand on your belly, because you like her but, then again look at it this way... you get real nervous around her because you like her.. i know that is normal, when someone likes someone, its just I think deep down inside of you, it's making you too uncomfortable with that type touch on that area.

Even though i like her, her putting her hand on my belly is just way too fast for me. I wouldn't have minded that if i knew her way more than the current situation.

I mean how would you feel if a guy you are attracted to does that to you, but you dont even know him well? Not comfortable. Im sure you would want to get to know him first.

No not really. Its hard to talk to her first but she initiates talking irl. She says “hi how are you” and then asks me about my life, stuff like where i studied, hobbies, etc. and i also ask her back.

But she keeps asking me why i get nervous. After asking me where i graduated from she asked “is that a boys only college?” I said “no, it’s for both guys and girls” And then she said “then why do you get so nervous?”
