I have a following on Instagram and I think it's fine obviously if people take inspiration off me. Someone sent me a person's profile a while ago though and I was shocked because that person not only is copying literally trying to copy every single detail of my life, from clothing, posing, room decor, etc. even hobbies and interests that are pretty uncommon and I even get judged for a lot but she also got literally the same (unusual) pets as me with even the same coating. The last point up to this day enrages me so unbelievably hard.
Recently someone sent me that profile again and I saw the person had moved their pets from living inside to the garden. Like. if you decide to get the same pets just because I have them for the "aesthetic" at least take fucking care of them. It breaks my heart. My friend sent me that girl's other socials too and it's literally an exact copy of mine. Like Pinterest etc. I know it sounds childish but I have experience with people like that in the past, in school and it was horrible. It stressed me out so hard
I blocked the person a while ago and she went out of her way to send me a site long paragraph from an alt account explaining how she's coincidentally always been like this but she also admitted to copying me. She's still stalking me as I see she's doing everything I'm doing even harder now. I wish I could post it here tbh because it reads crazy. Is that a sign of mental illness or? How should I handle this? I feel like I'm being robbed of my personality and I hate how I even let this get to me.
