I feel like my friend isn’t a good friend?

I’m 20 and she is 20. Is it normal that I always pay for things? Like she dosent appreciate it she never says thank you. She has never paid anything for me she does not ever say thanks or anything? She also only ever talks about boys which us girls do but not 24/7 of the day. She also always makes plans with me then if a random guy messages her she will drop the plans and not let me know nor respond. She’s very selfish? My other friends we do everything for each other it’s equal, we pay for things we take turns, we’re supportive emotionally. We speak about good things, we cook for each other. She also was never there for me after I ended things with this guy after a year and I was so upset she’s the only friend who never asked? She classes me as her best friend but she kinda drains me? I’m not sure if she’s signs of a good friend or not?

Just because she is giving you the title best friend does not mean she is one and clearly you have noticed. Sound like your other friends are more of your good or even best friends. What you can do is start paying for your half of things and not tell her much of your life since it sounds like she just cares about hers. Or talk and communicate about it but yes she doesn't sound like a nice friend, and specially if she drops everything for a guy whom she doesn't even know is going to stick around. Sometimes it's things that happen once you start to mature and value friendships
