Why do girls lie about their height so much?

It's so weird girls say guys lie about height , but girls themselves lie so much ! Like there's this one girl who's about 5'1 who add 3 inches to that and then adds her heel height and says 5'6 ! It's ridiculous !

Some girls lie about their height because they are self conscious about being what size they are. Other girls may lie because the body shape is proportional to size weight ratio (I'm 180 and 6'2 means tall and a little padding, but I'm 180 and 5'2 means I'm short and fat).

If you care about someone who lies about their height, do little things that make them feel special for their height. I'm on the shorter side and my boyfriend was of the taller height, so rather than making fun of me or saying how hard it was to stoop and kiss me, he would say things like I'm the perfect size for listening to his heart beat or he would say how much he loved that I stand on my tiptoes to kiss him because it makes him feel as though I couldn't wait to kiss him. Lean your arm on her shoulders and say she is the perfect size for you to lean on. Idk, maybe don't do anything. Some people would take offence to these things as well.

I'm 5'1 and a half and I always tell people I'm 5'1. But, I don't get the point of adding five inches to your height. Maybe, she just really wants to be taller. I know I would rather be 5'7 because my nine year old cousin is almost the same height as me.

I say I'm 5'9" even though I'm actually 5'8" and three quarters :P I don't know why someone would tell people they're 5 inches taller than they really are, though.
