Do girls sometimes avoid sitting next to a guy they possibly like?

Been noticing this girl for past 2 months now. She's a friend of someone I once met through another friend xD. I have caught her looking at me plenty of times, sometimes with her friend and her friend smiling after she mentioned of me. Anywho, today when I was in the library she sat with her friend opposite to me and few seats away. I noticed that she saw me. Some time later, I went to attend a call outside. When I came back, just before I sat I looked her way and she was already looking at me with really big eyes.

So, do you think she likes me... And why does she choose to sit at a distance than in front of me (the seats we vacant)? :D

She is a shy type maybe that's why she is avoid sitting next to u😂trust me dude some girls are really like that. Maybe she is introverted or ambivert NGL😂, that's why.

I don't know if it's relevant but she's seen me talking to another girl with whom I am just friends with. She was smiling with her friend when she saw me for the first time. This is the same girl who introduced me to her friend on a random meet.

I'm sure she likes you. Girls can be shy too. So you should go up and talk to her if you like her. I think both guys and girls can feel awkward with someone they have the hots for. e. g. As a guy you wouldn't want to suddenly get a big trouser tent as you walked up to talk to a girl you fancied.

Aha my man 😂.. That look is exactly what caught me off yesterday! It looked so nice since she's got her glasses on. I get looks of plenty of girls in the uni, not trying to brag and my friends have mentioned about other girls looking at me or asking them about me or being too 'curious'. For some reasons, I've grown a bit a social and mostly keep it to myself, some friends and studies and haven't shown interest in any girl lately. But this girl xD... She has kinda made me interested in her.

But I don't know why she might be intimidated and how could that be another sign of her liking me. Can you please elaborate a bit?
