Why would a girl get distant after sex?

A girl who I’ve been friends with at work, and got along with real good recently hooked up. It was great, we had so much fun, and after talked and really connected. Like it was the perfect day, because I have like her for years, we had sex, and talked like never before and I felt like it was almost too good to be true.

But the next day, we she walked into work, she just said hi, smiled and walked away. Like nothing happened. Some people said she has a boyfriend. But it was weird cause while walking by I tried to start a convo but she didn’t even stop. Is this normal behavior from a girl?

It's normal for women that play games, and/or women that are hoes. Normal/Healthy women get attached after sex. So the best way to go about this is to mirror her. Right now you obviously like her, and that is what the wrong woman will use against you, so it's imperative to protect yourself now that you've seen a sign of a promiscuous woman. So if she says hello the way she did the day after sex, say it back with an air of nonchalance as well. If she shows you no attention, show her none in return. If she remains nonchalant however, acting as if nothing at all happened, then you know that there is either another man in the picture that she is hiding, or she's simply a hoe. The goal here is to allow who she is to come to the surface, so you know what kind of girl you're dealing with. For context, hoes are naturally less romantic because of the lack of deeper intimacy in casual encounters. This actually touches on the deeper psychology behind why men are less likely to seek long term commitments with women that are hoes. Essentially it's because hoes are either afraid of intimacy due to past trauma, and/or an excessive amount of casual encounters has degraded their ability bond on that level. In either case, these women will hurt you, and use you, especially if you get attached yourself. Women most definitely do not Always get attached after sex, before I settled down, I at times had boyfriends that I was attached to but once we had sex I realised we weren't sexualy compatible so then I actually went off them after sex. In some cases women aren't in the right place to have a relationship, but that that doesn't mean she doesn't have sexual desires to satisfy. If she made no talk of a future or of a relationship leading up to sex then maybe she just wanted sex, that certainly doesn't make her a hoe lol. Or maybe she's just a bit embarrassed.

I had something similar happen years ago although we didn't go all the way. She might have a boyfriend that is true but also she is worried about office gossip and her reputation. If you're relationship goes south, it could be hard to work together so she may be looking at that angle. Also, she might have regrets and may not feel as strongly as she thought.

I think you should pull her aside, whether it’s at lunch or whatever and clear the air. If she has a boyfriend then she could be feeling very guilty right now and not sure what to do next. If she doesn’t have a boyfriend then she could feel some regret, like maybe in hindsight it wasn’t a good idea to take that step. I think a lot of people have a hookup that they thought they really wanted and afterwards it wasn’t smart. But in any case you should talk.

Oh ok, she did said “I feel guilty” after sex and when she did, I told her it’s ok because I like her and she said “well that’s true, and I guess I like you too”. She is like 8 years younger if that matters.

Sounds like she’s struggling with her feelings because she likes you but has a boyfriend. You could still have a chat with her just to be more cordial and casual but if I were you I wouldn’t pursue her romantically. For all you know she could tell you exactly what you wanna here, but what value will it have? Like let’s say she reciprocated your feelings, left her man and started something with you, sure it may feel nice in the beginning but you can never trust her. You are having a first hand experience of what she is capable of while in a relationship, and if I were you I wouldn’t want any parts of that. Even thinking “she wouldn’t do that to me” is a form of denial. Like if it’s good enough for him, it’s good enough for you. You deserve peace of mind.

If she is younger I noticed that they do not know how to communicate in person well. She could be feeling guilty because of the possible boyfriend and if it were to get out she could be scared of the consequences. If she likes you try to talk to her outside of the office grab a coffee in a chill environment and talk about it. I understand how this feels. I am so sorry.
