What is the likeness this guy I've been talking to was lying - he said he had "just gotten off a long call with the boss" at 10pm, ended work at 6pm?

Main that make me say he's lying... Just a few days ago he'd made a quip about he didn't think he was relevant to company so why would boss bother to call him for that long.

There's also the fact he usually texts good morning when he gets up. Has not yet texted. You can see activity on WhatsApp. I'm not texting him good morning as to me for all his claims about how he can't stand people looking for the "next best" (to date) he's doing just that.

That he is lying. It doesn't make sense. There's also the fact that last week he was more engaged, sending photos of his dog, etc. And now he barely sends anything.

There's also the fact that he offered to give me a sample of some kombucha he's making.
Now - after I suggested let's meet for coffee when you bring it - he's all of a sudden claiming it may not be turning out that well & he may have to toss it and do a smaller batch, etc.

He's always been a bit hard to peg down in conversation but now it's like what the heck

Yeah. Unfortunate as I was beginning to rather like him.

It's annoying as he kept going on & on about people always looking for something better in dating, etc. Maybe that was just a reflection on his persona and a backwards way of warning me.
