Ladies how would you feel if you flirt/make the first move with a guy from far away and he ignores you/acts a fool?

I have Aspergers Syndrome, therefore I get really anxious when people who I dont know personally flirt with me out of the blue. I never know how to react back. in situations like these my default defends mechanism is to either zone out or act a fool and pretend that I either did not understand heard that person.

anyways to make the long story short a girl at my job put me in this situation the other day. it was a slow day and it was almost time to go home so we all just stood there and socialized till it was time to punch out. so I was standing in some spot playing with my phone while this girl stood with her group of friends at least 10 feet away. all of the sudden I heard a boys say "hey how you doing? are you bored?" I looked up and it was her starring dead at me and again I did not knew how to act so I ended up zoning out.

till then I was wondering, despite having my mental illness I still feel like an asshole for not responding. I mean I obviously have nothing against people flirting and I'm not gonna lie I did feel flattered, but hopefully in the future not so damn far from today I can maybe talk to her and explain why I behave the way I did. even though she might not care anymore cause she probably thinks I'm an asshole who purposely ignored her.

but till then until that day comes I will always be curious on what she might of thought that night when she most likely felt ignored by me.

I’m not sure if she gave it any thought. Just learn from this experience and move on. I have Asperger’s too and mental health issues. I’ve run into this guy Ben time and time again, also an Aspie and we look at each other but we don’t speak. I don’t know why he looks, but I’m just acknowledging him to be polite or I’m surprised to see him in the same places so often.

You have Asperger's? I don't have Asperger's but I think I can related to some of the characteristics. If a guy flirts with me in person, it goes over my head. There's other things to that I can relate to.

I used to be really shy and blush easily. I still blush easily but I'm not that shy anymore. I'm still kinda quiet.

Ah the boy part was confusing me.
Now that might have been just basic socialising or she wanted you to respond with something like:
"Want to get out of here?"
Either way not responding at all was kind of impolite.

autistic or not dating still hurts your life if you are man. think about, you're buying this random chick dinner just to get your dopamine high and expect for her to reward you with a relationship or at least a night of sex yet even then she can still friendzone you after the date is done.

this is why I think strippers and prostitutes are better
