My uncle is psychologist. One time we were golfing together, and I would get really mad if I hit a bad shot and slam my club.
He said the best way to control my emotions in life is try to remain "neutral" in all situations circumstances. Good or bad.
Don't get happy when good things happen, and don't get upset when bad thing happen. (Try not to anyway) l. Just remain neutral.
When the highs come in and you let it bring you way up, then when the lows come in they will drop way down.
It's about balancing yourself throughout every experience in your life.
Eventually you'll learn not to let your emotions get the best of you
Forced self-discipline and lots of exercise that tires you out.
Logic can eliminate emotions so just get more logical.
