I’d have to say from my experiences, yes women are generally more accepting than men. I’ve never had a guy be openly hostile or say anything, but have gotten a vibe from them that they didn’t like how I was dressed. Whereas with women, I can’t count how many times they have come up to me to complement me on what I was wearing, whether I was dressed casually in a miniskirt and booty shorts, fully dressed or wearing yoga pants or shorts at the gym. My wife says how the women are hitting on me, which in some cases I’ve felt was true…but in general I think a lot of them were just being nice and paying a compliment.
