Men seem to value the hell out of their balls and manliness!! I'm sure that, if they could bend over far enough, they would quite regularly kiss their own balls passionately and profess their great love for them!! So, if they do ANYTHING even SLIGHTLY deemed as fem, they, themselves, are also deemed fem which to most men is a lowly stature in life! It seems to make you weaker and not as attractive to women because they think all women want a MANLY MAN!! Someone covered in thick fur that grunts instead of talks, beats their chest and roars, walks on their knuckles and would rather chase after a banana than a girl!! Most guys seem to think that if they so much as LOOK at a tampon or hear a girl talking about her period, their balls will drop off and they'll suddenly want to start wearing dresses and collecting shoes!!
So, you're ONLY a REAL man if you drink a real manly drink!! "I'll have a nice warm glass of sulfuric acid and serve it in a dirty glass!!"
From what I can tell, most women really aren't tat impressed!
If you have true confidence and masculinity, it’ll shine through and be felt, no matter what drink you’re holding.
If Mike Tyson was holding a fruity drink, nobody would question his masculinity.
Men who are concerned that other people will not recognize their masculinity if they’re holding a fruity drink, are men who are insecure and have a fragile masculinity.
A real masculine man will carry himself in a way, where he can make it work. They’re going to eat and drink what they want and they won’t give a f*ck about what people might think about them.
And girls who judge men drinking fruity drinks are just testing you. If you have have a witty and confident response, and OWN your choices. They’ll respect that, and see that you didn’t crumble to the pressure, getting all defensive. You will have passed their ‘sh*t test’ as they say.
If James Bond ordered a fruity drink, would women suddenly question his masculinity? No, he’d just maybe come off as a little eccentric, but that is all.
So, I’d say don’t worry about it. Men who make fun of it, have a fragile masculinity that can’t shine through their exterior presentation of themselves. Women who make fun of it, are only testing you.
If you’re a true king, you can drink whatever you damn well please.
There's nothing feminine about ordering a fruity drink, a fruity dessert, or a "fufu" drink at Starbucks or any other specialty drink place. It's a drink ffs. Get what you want, who cares what others think. Now if your drink order is so complex that it takes you 45 seconds to order it, I might say something about it. I'm certainly ok with my husband ordering a vanilla bean frappucino at Starbucks, but when he learns at the last minute that the Starbucks pay app on his phone is out of money and turns to me for cash, the laughter isn't going to be about the drink LOL.
One that that surprised me was I was googling fathers days gifts on Amazon years ago were that all the gifts for men were stereotypically masculine like mugs with swear words, wrist watches, designer pens, sports gear, fishing rods. I thought the Amazon guys must be dumb to think men are trying to prove their masculinity 24/7, they still eat, they still play house with their kids, they still go on walks and water their vegetables and eat tomatoes. You have to embrace and express the whole person and not just the sexual component.

I like dessert and love chocolate. Molten lava cake is great. My wife loves tiramisu and we share it.
If I'm having something other than red wine, I love fruity drinks. I like gin with orange and pineapple juice. And one of my favorites is a strong, well made mai tai. Or sometimes at a hotel with my wife, I'll try one of their specialty drinks. I don't really care for whiskey flavors, but I like tequila, gin and rum.
I don't give one fig about what anybody else thinks. I perfectly secure in my masculinity. People who worry about that shit are insecure.
Hell yes. Same here. I felt like posting this question because the stigma is unbelievably stupid to me, and I think it needs to die off.
Isn't "molten" an inherent aspect of lava? I mean, if it had frozen, it'd just be "rock", no?
Anyway, to answer your question: sexism. Men are given more behavioral leeway in most areas than women are, but that's because the expectations in other areas are so much higher. We're expected to endure suffering in stoic silence, and to refrain from things seen as frivolous, even when there's absolutely no reason to.
Like most sexist things, the root of it is biologically-driven, easily understandable once perceived, and totally stupid. An important reminder that instinct hasn't gone away, and that the unexamined life is that of an unthinking animal. More easy and immediate pleasure, perhaps, but WAY less self-actualization and cake. I know which I prefer.
Almost 400,000 years of evolving, and we will never be rid of our natural instinct, no matter what we do. I can say this as an archaeologist, we will never be disconnected from nature.
This guy is one of the most sought-after footballers in the world, and he loves sweets like Skittles etc. If he can do it, so can you.
https://youtu.be/x_vAEj0GstISkittles are definitely pretty great. Just like a molten lava cake 👀
He’s handsome and rich, I don’t know why you would try to compare him with y’all lmao
It's just a dumb attempt to make certain things only for men or women. More importantly, food and drinks are something everyone enjoys. If a guy is fem for liking fruity drinks, then I guess I'm boyish for liking boneless wings and eating them with my hands.
People like that just get a buzz out of being nasty bitches. They'll always cherry-pick a reason to put people down.
The question is why does the opinion of these bottom dwellers matter to you or anyone else? It's like worrying about a dog judging you for eating salad.
What’s wrong with different styles of drinks? Have you ever heard of going on a cruise ship and being in a festive, atmosphere where they have tropical exotic drinks? What the heck is wrong with that? What if you live in exotic city like in Miami Florida with cruise ships and living by the ocean they’re always serving those kind of drinks, coconuts piña colada‘s it’s not Chicago. Everything is just liquor liquor liquor in the streets, besides it all depends how are you can handle yourself in the streets not that what kind of drinks you drink. Look at Hawaii, how festive they are.
I never realized anybody actually got bent out of shape for being made fun of about ordering a fruity drink. I thought it was just something funny to give a guy shit for. People take themselves way to seriously if their main concern is the social stigma around what kind of alcohol you like.
I now like to give guys who drink Bud Light a lot of shit because of the recent Dylan Mulvaney controversy. It's pretty funny.
I've ordered one before, and quite frankly I did it because it was hot as hell outside and it just sounded more refreshing. When the girl I was with told me that she wanted a heavy beer after I already told the bartender my drink, it was a little embarrassing to tell the bartender we wouldn't be getting two tutty fruity orange smoothie or whatever stupid name they probably called it
All I know is Bud Light is the drink for tranny fagggs. (troons) Everything else and I hold back my judgment. Some of those chick drinks have more kick than a double-sized beer.
They just find reasons to judge people. I live my life…. The way I want. If people judge me over stupid shit like that that isn’t hurting them…. Then they can just stay out of my life
That's extremely silly.
I don't drink and I have sat in restaurants with my friends and while they all had alcohol drinks, I sat there with a strawberry milkshake and ice cream, didn't give a damn what anyone thought. What I eat or drink is about what I like. Nobody else gets a say.
You can't help your taste buds. I don't believe in that stigma. Personally, having tasted aged whiskeys and such, I wonder how some people will prefer those over more flavored drinks, but that's just me
I wasn't aware that there was a stigma attached to such things.
I've already dismissed the thought from my memory banks.
Thats the problem with the world, taking a dick to the ass is fruity, drying a Pink Escalade is fruity but fruits are natural, I get flavored drinks and I also drink cognac, wine, whiskey.
Life is too short for all that,
however you find your self trying to close a deal and you order that fruity drink don't be surprised if the deal doesn't close 😂😂
when in Rome
I think the whole stigma is stupid tbh. You enjoy your lava cake and Shirley Temple!!!
It's really strange to think that certain food and drinks are feminine or masculine. I might favor some things that tends to be seen as masculine but they're are fruity drinks that I like!
There are*
I like fruity drinks. I don’t really care what people think. I don’t drink to get drunk so why would I waste money on drinks that aren’t enjoyable?
I'm fine ordering anything I like.
I do not have to prove myself to anyone.
I have long ago proved it to myself that I am fine with who I am.
If it isn't good enough to whomever I am with then that is now their issue, not mine.
No one has ever questioned my masculinity due to ordering a fruity drink or dessert.
If I'm going to drink/eat something sweet then I prefer something that has at least vitamins in it.
I'm fine with my masculinity
Even when I wear a bikini to go swimming
I just wanna say I never cared what drink a man drinks and thinks a man drinking something fruity is feminine but I guess people say it is because they are easier to drink.
Im not really interested in people who drink so i wouldn't pay attention to if it was fruity or not
Same 🙄✋
The stigma is not real. Treat it with stoicism if in doubt. That's what i do.
Whoever feels its their signal to get invasive either might regret it or will waste their time.
These knuckle draggers can kiss my ass, I'll enjoy what I want and fuck them.
Although my favorite adult beverages are Bourbon & 7 or a Brandy Old Fashion Sweet, I'll take a good Strawberry Daiquiri or Pina Colada every once in a while if they use dark rum. Preferably Mount Gay dark rum.
If you got a problem with my drink you can fuck off.
I think the concept of toxic masculinity is fueled more by other men than women itself. But that's just me.
I didn’t know this was a thing but it sounds silly who doesn’t love cocktails?
The twitter user probably asked this to hike her views lmao
@anon1903 I'm definitely not that Twitter user. Besides, I've been permabanned off Twitter because of people like her who asked the question.
I never said you. Irregardless of how it was intended, she shouldn't have posted so.
*never said you were
Like girls and skirts/heels, it's just seen as a "feminine" thing
It's never made sense to me to have a stigma around men enjoying sweet tasting things. I can comprehend the skirts and heels concept, but with foods, it makes little sense to me. But hey, that's just me.
But, oddly enough, skirts and heels, were originally not only created by, but also meant for, men. Women feminized them. Fruity drinks have just always been sort of a feminine thing
Historically, pink used to be a color for boys. Women later on took it and used it as some type of symbol for femininity. It's strange how things can change.
Almost as if it was "forced" on us, right?
i work in show business and fruity drink = fruity guy
if you like fruity drinks just order them on your own not with a girl
@Juxtapose it doesn't make you that, but people tend to think that, especially in LA and NY
@rachel776 luckily most people don't take those looneys from NY and LA very seriously.
Just silliness from the insecure.
didn’t know it was a thing… but okay lol
I never see it that way lol.
I don't think that's exclusively feminine.
Don't know, and if I drank would not care.
Insecurity projected.
I didn't know this was a thing
I eat what I want
