Why when a boy imitates a man (whether a hero or career or ) people find it cute but when a girl imitates a woman people say "let kids be kids" ?

Kids must imitate to learn and they will always be kids no matter what, their mind will still be innocent and naive (to a degree) ... done for fun or learning.

Perverts prey on any type of kid and most propably on the quiet one. It makes no difference if the kid wears lipstick or not, a fake mustache or not so parents must do the necessary job to protect the kid in practical ways.

Maybe because most children and teens that I know, including myself, have been sexually assaulted by a man at a young age, but because of what I saw throughout the social media, I thought it was okay.

A sexual agenda involving the promiscuity of women is the forefront of media. Little girls seeing this are more likely to see this and think it’s the way they should act and be. And it’s not just that, it’s also body issues as well.
If the forefront of media involving women was women empowerment and showing women as powerful instead of sex objects, then I’d be all for it, but all of the things labeled inappropriate for a young girl to be doing have to do with the male gaze.

True that women are more sexualized than men... but I'm not talking about children dressed as sex symbols like Marilyn or something.. let's say wonder woman for example, is powerful,... must a woman hide her beauty in order for her role to be respected? It's not a kids responsibility how adults manage their own emotions.

I see often just the headshot of a little girl that has colorful hair and people say this... I always thought colours are what children like... the only way not to damage their hair or to make it temporary is to add a piece that is bought or a wig... its healthy for kids to play dress up so they can be true to themselves...

Let's Say someone naturally has a big butt.. no matter what they wear they still will have that hourglass attractive shape... should people not respect them? How much more then should kids be respected

So if the girls mother is a stripper, should she imitate that in order to learn? What about a hooker or a webcam girl? Is that what they should imitate? You’re comparing boys dressing as their favorite superhero’s to women rushing their daughters into adulthood for no good reason. Yes, there will always be perverted creeps out there preying on children, but I’d rather not live with the guilt of knowing I posted my small child in revealing clothes to entice those monsters.
