Are there women who purposefully target nervous/shy guys so they can mess with them?

A girl has noticed that i get nervous around her. She has asked me multiple times why but i never told her that i like her.

ever since she noticed my nervousness she became more friendly and talkative with me.

my friend told me to be careful because some women will do that to make you attached to them and then start playing with you when you confess.

Oh I'm sure there are. It's probably not the norm though. Women in general like to f*** with guys heads. And f***ing with a guy who presents no challenge is boring to most women. So a woman who feels she needs a build up might do it to a shy guy just to prove to herself she hasn't lost her touch. F***ing with a guys head for a woman is the equivalent to a cat sharpening it's claws. This is why guys with any experience learn that about 25% of what a woman says is just nonsense to see how you'll react.
