What every sane woman needs to do is SCREEN men before having anything to do with them. Literally. Get the name of any coffee date that's got potential & pay the $ to have a criminal background check done on them BEFORE you even consider a relationship.

If it isn't men killing or assaulting women for saying no there is an ever increase in physical assault, rape, etc. in relationships. So it's far wiser to know if the "nice guy" you went on a date with beat the shit out of his last girlfriend BEFORE he's doing it to you.
As for your question YES women should know how to use a gun.
It may not be some guy you said "NO" to but a gang of thugs, some loser in a dark parking lot while you're going home, home robbery, etc., etc. and even aggressive dogs or depending on where you are wild animals while in a back country hike.
I don't carry one and I don't want to. I'll probably start carrying pepper spray or something at some point but I dislike guns and with my anxiety disorder messing up my motor control sometimes I'm probably more a danger to myself than anyone else if I were to carry a gun.
Yeah I think a girl should carry a glock in her purse fit protection. My girlfriend didn’t carry one for awhile and was against until one of her girlfriends got jumped by a group of guys. I feel better now if she is alone or having a girls night out she is well protected and she had had shooting practice and pretty good at it I wouldn’t want to get her mad lol.
The overwhelming majority of my ex girlfriends carried sidearms, at least while we were together. If they've stopped since, I don't know, but that would really surprise me if they had.
I don't think anyone should walk around with a handgun. This isn't the Wild West! And even then it was ridiculous! The biggest threat to women is men. We're the reason women have fear 24/7/365, daytime and night. If men were not so damn stupid and dangerous for literally no good reason, women wouldn't have to constantly be ready to fight or run.
I think if anyone, woman or man, goes around carrying a firearm, they're asking for trouble to seek them out. The worst thing would be for a person carrying a firearm is attacked but instead of wounding, killing, or frightening the attacker (s), the victim loses control of the weapon and either a bystander is harmed or the assailant takes control of the firearm and harms or kills the person previously carrying a weapon. And now the attacker has fled the scene and they have a new gun to add to their arsenal.
Guns-Rights Advocates all have this "I Will Save the Day" fantasy, but that's not how things work. Usually what happens is someone is accidentally hurt or killed by the gun and someone else usually has to go to jail or prison.
Oh and how many white supremacists have guns and routinely carry them around, using them whenever there is "danger". That's how you have the Black boys, girls, women, and men killed when they're minding their own business, on their own property or heading to their homes, yet somehow simultaneously are seen as a threat by the local white supremacist neighbors who then become Judge Dredd, using falsehoods to justify their racism, and thus feel entitled to shoot at the people (usually people they are familiar with) who are just trying to survive.
I don’t own a handgun and would probably never. Everyone in my family shoots but I’ve never been comfortable with it. What another woman wants to do for her safety, within the law, isn’t my business.
I don’t own one because I live at home seeing as I’m a student and my dad has hunting guns that he keeps in the house in case of emergencies. If/when I live alone though, I will probably get one as well as a gun license for protection.
if it's necessary yes... if the plce is dangerous. actually i'm scared to gave a gun because what if i get so mad and use it but at thr same time i'm also very confident that despite being so mad i won't ise it ulnrss for self-defense
🤣🤣🤣. Being attacked is so rare here. Woman are out all the time at night by themselves. Maybe in London or the big cities but not where I live. Nobody carries knives, guns or anything. And i can defend myself. Guns are illegal here and for good reason. There's no need and I feel sorry for you if you need to carry one

Yes, women should carry if they are are capable and are willing to put in the training to be competent in it use, when I lived in the US every woman I dated carried.
Men attack women all the time in non isolated places I don’t know what you’re smoking. Women need more than spray to protect themselves from men. You guys are attacking women all the time.
I'm sorry you have had issues with men in your life. There are many bad guys out there I won't deny. There are also guys who would never attempt to harm you.
Maybe you are in a bad environment and need to leave or you need professional help through your traumas.

Yes but it’s kept in a gun safe in a locked closet so no I don’t carry it around but I have curious kids so it’s safer to not keep it on me if that wasn’t an issue I probably would.

I just carry pepper spray I often attract really creepy men for some reason and you never know.
