me & my old boss were talking one day at work.

she was telling me she was told by one of her old assistant managers that he was attracted.

she was like i dont care if people i work with find me attracted me they should not tell me that as i would not want to work with them.

It means she prioritizes her comfort in her working environment! Work like, home life, and social life require their own set of rules by people. It’s not a matter if she thinks her coworker is attractive or a good person or not. Her work environment to her is not the same as her social environment. At work you are forced to be around coworkers and the dynamic with them needs to be set at a time in order to run smoothly. Romance can often get in the way of that and make things awkward or even more detrimental. This is a pretty normal way of thinking. Some people are okay with mixing these environments but others, like your boss, decided that she would rather not
