If she doesn't ask your name after you ask hers does that mean she isn't interested?

She seems to be interested, she would keep glancing over at me multiple times when we saw each other. Sometimes I would look at her and she would glance away. one time we walked past each other and made eye contact and she gave a small smile without showing teeth. One day she was very busy working on something, I saw her and I asked her name, she just said her name but didn’t ask for mine, we had no time to talk. But she looked down and kind of smiled after I asked. If a woman doesn’t ask your name after you ask hers, Is she not interested? I don’t know if she is just being friendly.

Interested in what, exactly? What do you expect from the girl? Friendship? Love? Company?

Now it really depends on which context you define your question. Assuming it's for starting a relationship right away, I think you're going to have to take the wheel on this one. It doesn't matter if she's interested or not, if you really like her. Nothing's wrong with just going up to her for an introduction. It's not going to hurt. See where things go from there once you have officially had an introduction.

Honestly, I think you're just a tad bit reading in too much about these 'interest' things. It's really hard to tell at this point. Give it some time. :-)

Well, typically yeah in my opinion, but who knows... maybe you shoukd keep trying to talk to her to make sure...

I for example only ask back... if one, i`m interested... ir two, I`m being polite. when i don`t ask at all is because i feel no interest and feel no need to be so courteous.

she prob was shocked you asked for her name she dnt think to ask for yours. it happens sometimes it doesn't mean she it not interested if you are you should try and have a conversation with her.

She was busy, people tend to forget to ask other people's names when they are preoccupied. Talk to her more you'll find out if she is interested. She seems interested.

Staright after you ask her name is your turn to be like " oh hey Sarah my name's Peter" and you shake hands or something. That makes it less awkard for the girl to my mind. Plus! It shows the girl that you're polite and have good manners :)
