Her friends are friendlier with me recently, could this be good sign?

I've been talking with a girl for some time and we still haven't gone out on a date, even tho we agreed to go on one (we were both busy with our studies). We have same group of friends and those friends are her closest friends. As we went back to classes, I've noticed that those couple of her closest girl friends are more comfortable interacting with me compared to past. I am sure she already know that I like her and my guess is those friends also know that, as I found out that she was talking with one of those friends about me because she knew something about me I told only to that friend (something funny).

So my question for you girls is, could this be a good sign that she might also like me as more than a friend or I'm way overthinking this?

Hmmm, it could be a good sign that her friends are being more friendly with you recently. Generally girls like to scope out if their friend likes a guy before fully approving of them. A few possibilities:

- Her friends know you've expressed interest and want to get to know you better to decide if you're worthy of their friend. Always a plus if they warm up to you.

- They may be trying to subtly encourage things by making you feel more comfortable around them so you interact more with the girl.

- It could mean the girl has been talking to her friends about you in a positive way and they want to give you a chance.

- However, friends being polite doesn't 100% mean the girl likes you romantically yet.

Overall I'd say stay friendly back and don't read too much into it, but it's definitely a good sign her friends are open to you now. Keep chatting with the girl and hopefully you can finally lock in that date soon! Being patient but making intentions clear is key. Fingers crossed for ya man.
