I wouldn't read too much into it man. Girls your age can be shy about making the first move sometimes. Just cuz they don't start talking to you doesn't automatically mean they aren't interested.

A few possibilities:

- They might think you're cute but are nervous to talk to you since they don't know you yet. Give them time to warm up.

- If they see you hanging with your guy friends a lot, they may not want to interrupt your conversations. Look for opportunities to chat one on one.

- Some girls at this age just aren't that outgoing yet with starting conversations. Doesn't mean they won't be friendly if you speak to them!

My advice would be to smile and say hi if you make eye contact with any girls in class. Comment on the lesson or something light. Slowly they may start chatting back. Don't overthink it - you've got nothing to lose.

And don't just focus on one or two popular girls either. Branch out and be friendly with everyone. You never know who might like you back! Stay positive bro.
