Why do girls never start conversations?

ok I understand they want the guys to pursue them but I hate being the one that always has to text/call them first sometimes it seems like I'm bothering her and look desperate but she always responds to me so I don't know what to think

I USUALLY make the first move and initiate conversation unlike a typical girl. However, maybe she feels like she's bothering you, so she just waits till you're not busy and messages her, then she replies because she knows you're not busy. Maybe she's shy or uneasy about your interest in her so she waits for you to make a move and show her your cards first. The good thing is that at least she's replying to you and not just ignoring you...Therefore she has an interest in you.Well I hope she text's or calls you first tonight...Best of luck =)

Whoa. what? what do you think she is thinking when she would text and call you like that? they don't want to come off as desparate. so that's why. if you're like I would like you to call more or text me more because I really don't feel as though I should be the only one. Well first off its "Why don't girls ever start conversations?" Sorry sometimes sentence structure bothers me.

Anyways a lot of girls do start conversations, I'm one of them, so I have no idea why you think no girl will. Half of the time if you wait around and the girl still doesn't say anything she is shy and the other half she isn't interested.
