Scared to start conversation with guys even after I get to know them a little?

Unless I’m approached I can never start conversation with guys I’m interested in even if I have like a whole year (I liked a guy my freshman year and couldn’t work up the courage to talk to him once.) I’m good at holding conversation when I start talking but I just don’t know what to say at all. I also don’t know to approach a guy after you’ve talked once, won’t he be confused why I’m trying to talk to him again? What kind of excuse can I use?

I don’t have this problem with girls and my I can just talking normally no matter what even if they don’t like me or I can text my friends 24/7 first but not guys?

There is absolutely nothing wrong or abnormal about this. More times than not, Age cures that. Even if persists some guy will come along and appreciate this trait. And likely want to protect and grow with you. It’s nice as compared to the attention seeking body counters…. NO NEED to change. 💪

I don’t want to embarrass myself or make the guy wonder why I’m trying to talk to him.

If you are even remotely his "type" , (and he is single) he will be happy that you are talking to him, and (if he's like me) hope that you have an interest in him.

... and most certainly DO NOT be embarrassed, life is too short to let fears ruin your chances at a more enjoyable future.
