I send good night almost every night to a girl that likes me and Good morning quite often. But it is usually me who sends it first but sometimes she does (especially in the morning because I forget when I hurry to work).
But she always replies and even if I only say good morning/night she usually adds "sleep tight" or "slept well?".
But the question is, does she (girls in general) like to receive good morning and good night texts from a guy they like?

I write it to my friends, and I would write it to someone I love if he was somewhere else. It's nice to know someone thinks of you and remembers to write those two or three words, even if nothing else.
But for me, such things are important as they create our private space. I can imagine not everyone cares enough and it's also fine.

It's really a empty gesture imho. I say good morning to my coworkers everyday. They aren't special.
