Why do I feel like how much I hear from a woman is often equated to my level of interest in reverse?

I don't have this problem in dating but I found when I had graduated school and was looking to find friends in my area to replace my lost social network, the ones I wanted to be friends with would never initiate contact but the ones I did not want to be friends with would text me every day. High value people have options or prospects or potential and are less in a rush to chase down possible outcomes with those not invested in them or the things they value. An example, is, let's say, you are moderately religious and she wants somebody very religious. Or you are moderately hard working and she wants somebody very hard working. Or you are moderately compassionate and she wants somebody very compassionate etc... You might have the things people value, but not in the quantities or extended level they want. Like let's say you are 5"8 and she wants somebody 5"9. Or let's say, you are half European and she wants somebody full European etc..

if you mean the rate of contact by "women" plural, is more from those with less interest that can be explained that your interest is a limited range of available and the majority are out of that range therefore you hear from the majority which is more.
