Should a man ba allowed to hit a woman back in self-defense if she physically abuses him?

I want to say YES, because as a woman, you do not use the "I'm a woman, you can't hit me card." as a fucking excuse to physically assault a man.

If she dares to hit me, I won't hesitate to hit back. IDGAF even if I go to jail for using a full amount of force just to stop her!

I know people here are gonna say "What did he do to get hit?". This will mostly come from Filipinas/Pinays who gaslight battered boyfriends/husbands just because they can get away with it!

I’m going to say no cause I’m much bigger. But at the same time it’s 2024, equality is what many of them strived for. Even though the police will most likely believe her. Women are usually never held accountable for their actions. If she’s some small chick that you can easily hold off or shove away I’d say do that till you can get out of the situation. If she’s some MMA fighter or some chick who has you outweighed by a significant amount of weight and she’s beating your ass, I’d say fight back. But don’t ever hit her first. I’d try to avoid the face, could knock her out.

Well I never really had any physical fights with a girlfriend but I might try to hold her arms it around her to calm her down or do she can’t hit me. I might just walk away and leave and let her cool off. I was raise to never hit a woman and I wouldn’t use all my for or strength if I was going to. He could throw me across a room with ease. He is a gentle giant though. That being said if I ever were to lay hands on him I know that the outcome would be a singular solitary slap that would likely snap my neck. I am Eastern European and my husband is American but we were both taught the same thing. If a woman attacks a man in any way she is accepting that she is no longer being a woman and as such she can and will be treated like a man. Where I grew up if a woman laid hands on a man he would hit her back and from that point if the relationship didn't end (they generally still don't) she knew that if she came at him like a man she would get hit like a man
From both of us: yes if a woman hits a man and continues to he should absolutely hit her back as hard as he wants if necessary. You don't assault your partner and escape unscathed.

I witnessed how my grandma punched and kicked my beloved grandpa for nothing (like for just standing in a way) many times without any respect. He was in blood many times. Allowed? Unless he is being restrained then he can any time he chooses. It is best to have some witnesses or if someone is filming it. Also, it is best to respond with proportional force. The police would believe you were the evil aggressor with her crying story about how you abused her. Video is good. Don't hit her so hard she'll be in the hospital that could sway the legal matter against you.

I would never hit a woman unless she was going to shoot me or hit me with a baseball bat. I dated somebody who used to abuse me. She would hit me and once she bit me so hard that I was bleeding. I still have the scar. I would never hit her. I used to restrain her until she calmed down.

If you are worried about jail I recommend using submission holds instead of striking her: basically just twist her arm or something until she can no longer stand the pain and submits.
