What is with women not fully responding to a message and just responding shortly if they’re interested?

some women do this, and it bothers me. Example, I did not text this woman at all yesterday. Today she texts me and tells me what she’s doing today and that if she’s home early enough, let’s have a call like we planned earlier in the week. So she reached out to me after me not messaging her yesterday, but I considered her last response to me to not be sufficient.

Augh man, girls can be so confusing sometimes! Here's my take on the short responses:

- Sometimes they just don't have much to say to a text. They're busy living their lives ya know.

- Don't want to seem too eager or available by writing paragraphs. Gotta play it cool and leave you wanting more.

- Probably juggling multiple convos too so can't spend ages on each. Got other dudes hitting them up.

- Might be testing you to see if you can continue the conversation with what they give. Gotta show you're interesting!

- On the other hand, this girl did try setting up a call so seems interested. I'd just roll with it babe.

- Try shooting her another text like "Sweet, sounds good" or a question to continue the chat. She reached out so she's feeling you.

- As long as she's following through on plans who cares how long the texts are! Let it flow natural and don't obsess too much. You got this bro!

As others have said it can be many reasons and she may not even mean to be confusing. A lot of women and men think they’re being clear with one another, but they’re not.

Be direct. Tell her that you need to know this. Ask her. Tell her you don’t understand and talk to her about it.

When will people learn that texting is not meant to hold intense, deep convos under. She is giving you a chance to man up and voice how you feel in a more realistic way and your pride is getting in the way because of a text that is more or less bland.

Why can't people understand that texting is NOT a valid form of communication. If you plan on relying on texts, you deserve to fail.
