Hi I (M25) was working out at the gym in a more private area with my friend (F31) when I ended up sitting on the workout bench near a pull-up machine. My female friend out of nowhere gestured towards an attractive woman who was doing pull-ups on a machine and she said "Pretend this is her doing this" and proceeded to bounce up and down and grind on my lap like we were having reverse cowgirl sex. I was really turned on by the whole thing. I wasn't really sure why this happened because she had denied my advances recently and I she recently said she wasn't into me sexually at all. Even more so I was taken aback when later she denied this ever even happening. I guess the gist of my question is why would she deny this happened and why would she tell me to pretend somebody else was grinding on me rather than just doing it without any of the commentary?

Any ideas why a female friend would constantly lie to me about things for no apparent reason?

Jealousy.
Basically you weren’t paying her attention.
Women are absolute w4ores for attention. It is the single most important thing to them. It doesn’t matter if she isn’t interested in you or didn’t want to get with you in the past: pay attention to me NOW!
This is why often women will get very upset and even sad when a guy they friend-zoned moves on and actually gets a girlfriend.
They WANT his attention. They CRAVE it. It validates them, makes them feel wanted, and reassures them that guys find them attractive—it doesn’t matter that the woman will jace no interest in the guy or intention of EVER being with him. It’s the ATTENTION they want.
So your lady friend literally came over because she could tell you weren’t focused on her, were working out and just chilling, and she shakes in front of you and grinds all over you.
”Pay attention to me! Focus on me! I’m insecure!”
Thats all she is doing.
Plus, she is also “marking her turf” like a dog peeing on a pole: the other women in the gym, the attractive ones, won’t possibly even consider you an option. They will think you’re dating... or screwing. Or that THAT is what you like, that kind of behavior.
She is sabotaging you. Deliberately. While also demanding you give her your attention.
While also rejecting you and friend-zoning you, as you mentioned.
So you see, her actions are completely selfish, one-sided, and she is treating you like a means to an end. Satisfying her own ego while stringing you along.
She’s using you, and is very scummy and trashy.
I highly recommend you distance yourself from this harpy and cut off all contact with her. Block her. She’s bad news all the way around.
P. S. She lied about it because she knew what she did was pretty crappy behavior. She could sense that you were put off by it and immediately denied it and gaslit you. She doesn’t want to be called out, or have you question her behavior... because that means you have to question her MOTIVES.
And do you think manipulative people want you doing that?
🤔
Why does any of this even matter?
