How to I get her to stop playing hard to get and admit she’s interested?

Been talking to a girl on instagram DM’s and we’ve been talking for a little while and she replies pretty quickly within 1 or 2 minutes each time I send her a message and occasionally might take an hour to see my message but doesn’t reply to every message I send so I think she may be playing hard to get. uses extended haha’s a bit so I asked her if I could ask her a question but forgot to reply so she sent a couple of question marks a couple of hours later which makes me feel like she’s chasing me a little bit, her responses are usually sort so I asked her we were in a talking stage but she didn’t reply, she’s viewed a few of my instagram stories after I’ve sent her a message. So I also asked her if she’s usually this quiet or is just me and she said she’s not much of a talker. So what I do about her playing hard to get if that is what’s happening?

Dude don't even stress about her "playing hard to get" or whatever. Just chill and do you. Girls can sense when a guy is too desperate, it's a huge turn off.

My advice - back off a bit with the double texting and questions. Give her some space, let her come to you for a change. In the meantime, post some cool stuff on your Instagram and chat with other people. Act like you've got other options so she doesn't feel too powerful in this situation.

Who knows, playing it aloof might even make her more interested in what you're about. But don't expect anything from her - you should be the one in control of your emotions here bro. The less you chase, the more she'll wanna chase you, if you know what I mean.

A couple things you could try:

- Ask more open-ended questions to get her to open up more in replies. Like what her hobbies are, favorite movies/shows, stuff about her day.

- Throw in a compliment like "You seem really cool" to let her know you're interested too.

- Suggest meeting up for a low-key activity so you can chat in person. It'll be harder for her to "play it cool" then.

- Flirt a little, like tease her gently if she takes too long to reply. As long as you're smiling when you do it so she knows you're just playing.

So she’s not replying to my last few messages but she’s still seeing them within an hour but hasn’t blocked me and I would’ve thought if she wanted me to stop messaging her she’d block me but she hasn’t so I feel something is going on? I feel I should pull back for a few weeks

Ah man, it sucks when they pull back like that. Seems like maybe she's lost a bit of interest, or just got more busy.

I wouldn't take it too personally yet though, girls can be weird sometimes. Pulling back for a bit is probably a good idea though, let her miss talking to you a little.

A few weeks no contact might be too long - I'd say give it like 3-4 days max. Then shoot her just a casual message like "Hey, how's your week going?" and see if she opens up again.

If she's still barely replying after that, then yeah maybe she's just not that into you. But at least you gave it a chance to bounce back first before totally giving up, you know?
