The bible says there are no advantages to being good looking. You might attract more options, that does not mean the options you attract are all good. The wife of the Khazikhastan minister was very good looking and her husband abused her and killed her. Beautiful women get abused all the time. Ugly people get treated to hugs and kisses all the time.
Good looks is a value like any other. One example is not a proof. If God was against aesthetics, He would not created such beautiful world.
For many women, the men just come to them, no searching needed.
