Why do some women seem completely cold?

For many reasons such as the state of society with social media, perception of men based on the general behaviour they observe both online and in person, failed relationships, lack of social tact by men, etc.

I'm usually an advocate for men, but when I try to put myself in women's shoes for this specific scenario, I kind of get it.

Some of it is has to do with their own choices for the people they choose to have in their lives, but a large factor is the men.

Some women can be like that. It can just be their natural disposition but the moral of this isn't to have men focus on why they are that way or how to get them to thaw... blah, blah, blah. It shouldn't be any guys problem at all. If a woman acts cold... just move on. Don't waste another moment keeping them in your life or "pondering" why she acts that way. There are 4 billion women. Move on.

Sometimes it's a self defence mechanism and sometimes it's simply because they don't feel much chemistry where you're concerned. And in some cases it's because of trust issues and they take time to open up and actually show emotions. It's nothing personal.

A lot of women deal with weird guys and it gets to be a bit much for them especially if she is good - looking.

Imagine being a hot chick and having all sorts of men hit on you all day long trying to drop your panties. Weird men , men who could be your grandfather, men who smell of ass, hood rats, etc If it were me I would probably put up a wall too.

There are some women who are emotionally cold towards men, but it could also be a matter of your perception. The problem is not women in general, but a particular woman in your world. . . right?

Women are careful not to give the wrong signals. It's awkward for them when somebody they aren't interested in asks them out, and they have to turn them down. So they will be cold toward men they aren't interested in, just to be sure they don't get any ideas. If a woman is interested in you, she will give you hints, most of which you won't pick up on, like twirling their hair. They will be warm and flirtatious, and will laugh at your jokes.

It's likely that she's had some level domestic abuse, or has been cheated on or manipulated or lied to by men, so has a defence mechanism in place to protect herself from further harm.
