Is there an age where you should stop being called "cute" as a man?

I feel like at 27, it's not common. Usually, guys are called handsome.

Cute can mean two things and it depends on your actual attractiveness, not how you perceive yourself (remember you see you all the time, youve grown comfortable with you, others only see you for the first time per say). Now if you're attractive or do something that women see as endearing or kind theyll say cute. Or cute can be used to cover for ugly or unattractive or innocent. Its how we describe women as hot pretty cute and sexy. Like a girl can be hot sexy and pretty but not cute or any variable. Some people are attractive in a mature womanly physique or in a cute girly physique.

I get it. It feels as if they are belittling you when they call you cute. As if they are talking down to you, though you know they mean well. It's annoying.

But what they mean is that you seem innocent, pure in some way.
Not that you're a child or unable to be responsible.

if depends, some men as they get older their baby face remains and also if they have dimples or cute eyes, you could still call them cute. For example my boyfriend has chubby cheeks so I still call him cute.

I've personally never preferred being called cute over handsome, attractive, hot, sexy, etc.

I've always mentioned to my partners that I prefer not being called cute.

Cute sounds small and feminine. When you think of a guy that can protect you, cute isn't exactly the first thing that comes to mind.

However I don't mind if my actions in the relationship are called cute.
